The East Chambers Buccaneers look to move one step closer to a Class 3A State Championship as they take on the Malakoff Tigers in this Region III Semifinal tonight!

Todd Sutherland's Buccaneers reached this round with a 96-49 bi-district win over Newton, a 70-37 area round win over Hempstead and a 78-59 win over Nacogdoches Central Heights.  Meanwhile, the Tigers reached this round via a 93-52 bi-district win over Whitney, a 49-44 area round over Franklin and a 49-44 win over Grandview.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Crockett/Coldspring-Oakhurst semifinal tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
