Honestly this is why I think Carthage will win. They are a complete team. Every phase of their team is above average without a doubt. Offense can beat you on the ground or through the air. Defense is more than capable of getting stops. Have some really good players on that side of the ball. Special teams are solid. Coaching staff is very good, their record speaks for itself. 

i just don't think a team that relies almost entirely on one/third of the phases can knock them off.

So does silsbee passing game consist of alot of short routes and rely on yac or do the like to stretch the field and go verticle? Also your qb seems to be 80% of the offense judging by stats on the rushing is it alot of design runs r is it break down in protection and then just tucks and run

Jared has come along way since his sophomore year. Ingram (Soph) RB will be something real special for my Dawgs in the next couple years. The Soph class down to the 8th grade class will be the best class we've had since '13 (08-10) included as well. The line coming up will be massive and there is no shortage of exceptional talent at the skill positions. Great years ahead Dawgs. 

 

It'll be good to go back home this week. I get to visit with some family for the weekend. The Templeton name runs deep in Carthage. 5 generations. I'll end up back there, soon.

Silsbee has two WRs at 1,000yds, a sophomore rb at 1300 yards, and a QB at 1600 yards. They are a well balanced team as well. Their defense isn't great but they make places and force turnovers.

They mostly run the ball. Silsbee QB is slow and can't throw very well. He likes to hand off and if you rush him and get in his face, he doesn't have the speed to get outside the pocket. He does however run a very mean 2pt conversion.
