I don't put much stock into freshman games.  In Beaumont you have kids merging from various schools, some learning new positions, learning a new offense and new terminology.  Now JV on the other hand, that's a whole different thing.  Jaguar Freshman 3-2 (losses to Nederland and Vidor).  JV 5-0.

Rashown Johnson at PNG will be the best or in the top 5 best of that district when they are seniors. Remember that name. He will be the QB as a sophmore for PNG varsity next year.

I think differently. The best athletes never play on jv. Also from my experience the jv practices worth the varsity and the varsity gets the majority of the practice emphasis.

true, when I played the jv was scout team for varsity and ran the opposing teams plays.. We very rarely even worked on our plays at all.

yes he would make a good offensive coordinator/QB coach at any school.
