Diboll vs Madisonville week 7

Diboll coming off a big win over Corrigan better not take Madisonville lightly. They have played a tough schedule so far. Diboll snagged a win last yr unexpected and Madisonville could do the same. Who you got..

Diboll seems to be getting it together. This game to me is a toss up. Should be a close one.

I want to go with the homer pick and say Diboll by 14, but I'm actually very nervous and undecided about this game. Diboll and Corrigan banged each other up quite a bit Friday night which will be a factor for both of them this week. I hope we move that rivalry game up to about game 2 instead of right before district next year.

As for Madisonville, I think they made an outstanding move in the offseason  switching from the I formation to the spread. Madisonville has athletes that rarely touched the ball getting their hands on it now. Diboll should expect to see the Jet Sweep a few times. This is Madisonville's first year in the spread so I would assume that they will make a few mistakes. After a grueling battle with Corrigan, Diboll's D will have to step up big.

Tough game to call.  Madisonville has played a tough schedule.  They did beat Caldwell and led Rockdale at the half.  Diboll is playing way better than I expected this year, so I'll lean with them to get the win again for the 2nd straight year.

Foot injury in first quarter. The backup came in and had over 150 yard and several tds. Great performance from him.
