AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted March 31, 2015 Report Share Posted March 31, 2015 Yes, Final. Lumberton lost because of errors and strikeouts, but the umpires were almost comical. I think there were 4 balks called on our starter, who is one of the quality pitchers in this area. Then our batter called out for stepping out of the batters box on a bunt. GCM is scrappy Seems to be happening quite a bit with Moralez. GCM is very young. I'm not sure they have a Sr on the roster. If they do, it's not more than 3 or 4. Mario is not the same pitcher this year, velo way down. They have a solid soph class and one really good freshman. Marios 8th grade brother has already hit 87-88 so add him to the mix and they will be tough next year. Seems to me all of the hard nosed ball players that RSS used to get are at GCM.
