IT'S IN THE BONE Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Now that all of 12-3A is done...coaches should release Monday...any predictions? Quote
Guest Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 My prediction is that there will be lots of Cats, Cougs and Bucs on it. Or should I say there should be Quote
#62jjohnson Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Well nowadays it will have about 28-29 players make 1st team offense and about 30 players on the defense . I say everyone should make a team . All jokes aside who is the districts mvp ? Quote
wildcat/nation09 Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Kirbyville - diggles. Buna - Lopez. East chambers - silcox. Since diggles missed 3 district games I say silcox for mvp. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted November 29, 2014 Author Report Posted November 29, 2014 Silcox is MVP That three word statement seems to have an air of confidence...you got the inside? LOL Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 That three word statement seems to have an air of confidence...you got the inside? LOL Yep Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted November 29, 2014 Author Report Posted November 29, 2014 Does the District winners Coach post the All District line-up? When I say post I just mean make it public. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted November 29, 2014 Author Report Posted November 29, 2014 Really...that's s legit question, I never really knew what the deal was. Quote
oldschool2 Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Really...that's s legit question, I never really knew what the deal was. I think schools generally wait until all district teams are out of the playoffs before they announce. I think anyone can "announce". Maybe the district chair sends info to the local newspaper. I'm not real sure. IT'S IN THE BONE 1 Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Wouldn't be surprised to see the district MVP come from the 4th place team. There also might be more than 30 first teamers on either side of the ball. Lest we forget in this day and time that everyone gets a trophy!!! Quote
Guest Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Yes he is the best player in the distict but a mvp should not come from a 4th place team. Quote
Guest MTJ Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Yes he is the best player in the distict but a mvp should not come from a 4th place team. I've never heard of that rule. Dan Marino Quote

Guest MTJ Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 I would be very surprised. Concerning the MVP being Arnold? Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Concerning the MVP being Arnold? I would be surprised only because I actually know who the district MVP will be. Quote
Guest MTJ Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 I would be surprised only because I actually know who the district MVP will be. If not Arnold, the decision is a joke. I think the D1 offers speak for themselves lol Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Silcox is MVP Just because a player has DI offers doesn't necessarily make him the district MVP. Example, Silsbee's LT Patrick Hudson is the area's most highly rated recruit, but that doesn't mean he should be an MVP. Quote

I know all these kids in this district and seen them multiple times in action. Grayland is this districts MOST Valuable Player, and it's not close. Quote

Guest MTJ Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Not according to the coaches who vote on this. And there vote is the only one that matters. Silcox is a good kid, very talented. Hmmmm Quote
Guest Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 I'd say he's the most talented player in the district but not the MVP. The record speaks for it self and if they just filled the first and second teams with the minimum number there would be some schools with nobody on it. Heck I think they elect all district water boys these days Quote
Tyler Dixson Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Same reason king will not win it in his district. Quote
Guest Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Arnold is the best talent in the district. If your making a team out of the best in the district and you know football then Arnold is hands down your first pick! Quote
