MEM Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Coldspring will have to play alot better on both sides of the ball if they're going to get back into this one. Outside of the drive that was extended courtesy of the roughing the kicker penalty CS has not been able to move the ball on offense & sustain drives. Quote
Crawford Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Great job so far Eagles. Don't let up! Quote
MEM Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Another bad snap over punters head. Tatum scores again couple plays later. 28-6 Tatum. 9:21 left in 3rd. Quote
TROJANSWIN Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Coldspring snaps over punters head. 2 plays. Touchdown Tatum. 28-6. Kicking game is killing Coldspring. Quote
TROJANSWIN Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Coldspring is finished. They have lost their composure. Good game Tatum. Good luck in the playoffs. Quote
MEM Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Tatum recovers fumble in endzone. Tatum 35-6 4:15 left 3rd Quote
MEM Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 35-6 Tatum. End of 3rd. This one is over. All that remains to be settled is the final score and will CS finish the game with some class & composure. Quote
MEM Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 For some odd reason Tatum elects to try a field goal with less than 40 secs in game instead of taking a knee & CS hits kicker & returns ball about 80 plus yards for a TD. 2 pt try no good. Tatum 35-12. 38 secs left. Quote
MEM Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Tatum finally takes a knee. Final from Lufkin - Tatum 35 Coldspring 12. Quote
Uncle Pig Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Tatum has those east Texas athletes...capable of winning it all any given year Quote
Crawford Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Congrats to the Eagles Good luck next week Quote
Eagleborn Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Good lawd! Wow! You shocked? Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 You shocked? Heck yea, 35-6 at one point. Quote
Eagleborn Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Heck yea, 35-6 at one point. This Tatum team came in as healthy as they been all season. Only two starters were out today. Leading rusher was one of them. Quote
MEM Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Not really surprised by the final outcome once Tatum got out by 14+ points because CS can't run the ball as well as they have in past years. Couple that with the mistakes, penalties, etc against a team with comparable athletes and things got out of control. As a fan I had hoped they could hit a few plays through the air to keep better teams from keying on the run but they weren't able to do enough to make a difference. Congrats to Tatum. They seem to be a talented & well coached team. Quote
TROJANSWIN Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Got a week off for thanksgiving and then basketball starts on Monday boys. Quote
bullets13 Posted November 25, 2014 Report Posted November 25, 2014 Afraid this might happen. I've been at the deer lease with no service for 3 days. Finally seeing these final scores Quote
