who takes state in 3a division 2 this year?

Its ok they had a false start on 4th and 1 that made a 4th and 6. Then Foster slipped on one of the 4th down plays and the other one Corrigan had a good call on that stopped the play. Newton will be fine

no sir! Now we gave Newton credit now yall give credit where credit is due! One of the plays Foster tried to go airborne for the first and #55 met him there and flat out shut him down! And that's exactly how it happened

If it plays out right CC will have another shot at us in quarter's, but we will have to battle it out with franklin in regionals first, I think CC rolls to the quarters, and gets us or franklin, winner of region 3 will be sitting fat at the ship!!!! Don't see region 4 doing anything against region 3 in the semis,.......I have my playoff bracket out and studying lol.

Crockett might get sneaky , could knock off CC before quarters

True that!

I still think the regional road goes through Franklin. They are tough. I don't think they can beat Newton but they will Give CC all they can handle and their dicipline could put them over the top.

Injuries are sooo key at this level.
Also, the further you go turnovers are game changers.

I've been looking at the bracket.. looks like we'll get rogers in the 2 round . That will be a good game. And the 3rd round is questionable.. maybe maypearl and of course 4th round either newton or Franklin! Gonna be some good games!

    • Don’t think that qualifies, Mat. You was just po’d because the bank was closed. Would’ve been the same if you had forgotten it was Presidents Day, right?
    • Which district has "shown unwillingness to build a championship program"?
    • And just for the record, there's a difference between running from competition and moving to another district because the one you are currently in has shown an unwillingness to build a championship program. Figured I'd clarify that before it came up.
    • I will never understand the mindset of a parent who thinks teaching their kid to run from competition is what is "best for the kid". Stay and fight it out, if you lose the position, find somewhere else to contribute and help the team. This soft azz mindset is what is wrong with the younger generation and it's not even the kids fault. I am old enough to remember when football was a game that taught life concepts and grew boys into men. Now, it's just like every other sport and treated like a meal ticket for parents, regardless of what the underlying consequences of those decisions may be. Everyone looks for quick returns on investment instead of working to prepare these kids for the tough breaks in life. Makes me sad.
    • I pulled into the bank drive-through to cash a check yesterday. Couldn’t figure out why they were closed. About an hour later I realized it was because of Juneteenth. Kind of ticked me off. I just wanted to cash a check. Hope that doesn’t make me racist.🤔
