Ruy moved to Nederland for a few years for his parents job and just went back to Mexico. He played on the NLL all-star team as a 9 & 10 yr old.

That kids name was Ruiz. There is not a ruiz on Mexico's roster

The kids name is Ruy Martinez. Yes he played in Nederland. They moved back home before his 11 year old season.

It is him. I used to do pitching lessons with him and his brother. They ended up in Nederland cause the dad was kidnapped and held for ransom by one of the cartels. His dad paid a ransom fee to get him back, and somehow they ended up in Nederland TX. Moved back because it was hard to run his business from here. I believe he played for Mike Hiltz.

He was small and had a younger bigger brother (David) that was on the 8U gladiators.  The 8 year old hit about 18 homeruns out of ford park and Houston.  they have a younger brother at the time was 5 (Mau). he is going to be a stud from what I saw.  they are still in Monterey.  What rounder said is true.  they did have to go back because his dad was having trouble running his business from Nederland.  They are a great family.  I haven't received any communication from them in 3 months now.  There was hope they may come back.  David and ruey both played for hiltz 10 U team

Or something like that... They have family in Nederland. He played NLL in 2011 as a 9 yr old and was on all stars. Not coached by Hiltz. He was convinced, wink wink, to not play league as a 10 yr old. The yr a lot of kids left for some reason....we know why. Played on a select team as a 10 yr old coached by a few people, one being Hiltz. They moved back home after that. Very nice family.
