understand Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 lilmouse we had state titles too and you mention the other schools,not me, we own the bees in every sport but basketball and that's because we spilt the seasons most times. No if you were on one of the Bees team you guys were good but Central owns PA now the only equal is football 3 and 3. I just don't know why some always have a problem with the Central kids ; but when we beat you PA dudes this year you will want to hang Kenny and his son. Lamarque did have a great program,I enjoy watching all the flag poles with each one showing a state title, think I saw 6. ( so tell me what school was HOME OF THE PROS) Quote

I have no bias in either direction, but you should know that Dicks Sporting Goods chose Central, Central did not ask for them to come. They chose Central because they believe the program is going in the right direction. Coach Foreman has been promoting his kids well before Dick's came to film them. That's why he has three kids committed already and a few more with offers. He didn't "need" Dick's to come in, but I doubt any coach in the area would refuse national attention. Maybe I'm wrong though, I've been before. Also, PA Memorial has one NFL player than Central does right now, unless I'm missing someone from either school. understand 1 Quote

Now this year may be in question because of everything being new at Ozen & they play so early but the next few years they will be loaded and P.A. will definitely have their problems with the "O"! We don't get to see it on a consistent basis as you have witnessed itas far as big schools (and this is my opinion only) I think its on par with our area as far as speed, athletes, coaching adjustments, fan support and overall community togetherness, as far as small schools: West Texas is way better IMO, got some big time schools out there that could compete with the big boys, there are way more small schools in West Texas than here though. Small schools in West Texas are tougher than around here with the exception of WOS and Newton. Once again this only my opinion. Btw: the rivalry games out there really gets cranking, I mean its utter shenanigans all week no matter the distance between the schools, absolutely craziness. Quote
