Montgomery has strong pitching and swept Cedar Creek including a no-hitter Friday night. Cedar Creek appeared to be a weaker team, but BH will have their work cut out for them in round 2 no doubt. Good luck to the Eagles.

Looks like Montgomery struggled at the end of the season, like BH did. They dropped 4 out of the last 5 games of the season. Though it is the playoffs, They look to have one very good pitcher, Crosby beat them in tournament play early in the season. Records are almost the same. 18-4A is a very tough district so 11-5 and a 2nd place finish is not bad. BH has to hit and score more runs, too many 0s across the scoreboard the last few games.

BH in 3. Montgomery had an easy first round. Although BH struggled at the end of the year, they split with the top teams in district and got a tough series win against a good Nederland team. I think they take this series as well.

BH won 1st game 3-1 and lost 2nd game 3-1. BH left way to many people on the bases in the 2nd game. 3rd game tomorrow at 1 pm.
