The Evadale Rebels travel to Dallardsville to take on the Big Sandy Wildcats. This is always a tough, hard fought game; and I think the Rebels have not won there in three years. Still several games left, but Big Sandy will be fighting to gain at least a share of the district lead heading into the final stretch. Should be a great game between two of the top 25 1A clubs in the state.

Not judging, seen it with my own eyes. How disgraceful to go after the umps when game is over. Absolutely classless! Evadale should be so proud.

No one went after the ump. All about perception. The gentleman you saw is a board member for the local TASO chapter. He was talking to them, and nothing more. I was standing right there,

Forgot to mention one thing. Heck of a play by Blaine Tolar and Ryan Brown to end the game.

One last thing from my perspective; there is work to be done. We had far too many errors, and left too many runners on base. The boys have several district games to work out the bugs. The coaches will evaluate the game, develop a plan and push the boys for the remaining practices. No one likes to lose, but hopefully this will put the fire back in their belly and may prove beneficial in the long run. You can't go through the motions against good teams.

I agree with you. Evadale is a better team than they showed in our 2 games. Errors let us get back in the first game, also.

I was not at this game but was told a freshman?  came in the 2nd inning with the rebels leading 2-0  and pitched very well and had 12ks ?   and the game was ended on a perfect throw by the center fielder.  sounds like it was a good game.
