No rhyme or reason to these rankings. Hard to comprehend how BC is at #3 over schools like Caldwell, Robinson, etc. That's just an honest opinion from a BC fan. Several teams ranked higher than they should be. The polls are always fun and generate interest and dialogue among the fans but without some formula to truly compare teams it will continue to be subjective.

Most of the votes are by coaches who vote for a "name" not on what is happening on the field.

Yes just an observation. To knock a team is not my style. My opinions on this forum are based on just that. Observations.

If the rankings meant anything, they might take them more seriously.

 

Basically you just need to finish ranked 1-4 in your district. The rest is just internet fodder.

Rankings are like toilet paper.  Flush it, means nothing. On the field is where it happens. Most rankings are who you are or who you know.
