cougar14
Now that national signing day has come and gone, who from you school gets to play at the next level?

cougar14
I also heard a rumor that even though Kevin Shorter signed a letter of intent, his career is probably over due to a spinal cord bruise. Can anyone validate that?
UTfanatic
Kevin will attend The University of Texas on scholarship.
Octfeb
And Crosby STILL couldn't make it past the second round! Sorry you left that wide open for some sarcasm... But in all seriousness congrats to them all. :D
cougar14
Kevin will attend The University of Texas on scholarship. He signed a letter of intent. My question is will he actually play due to the risk of re-injuring the spinal cord. There's members of the UT staff that don't actually think he will. There's members of the UT staff that don't actually think he will. I don't even think that the UT staff knows. ESPN did a piece on him and a kid from Dallas who got hurt and Texas A&M is honoring his scholarship as well. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/10416602/texas-shorter-texas-collins-scholarships-honored-injuries They answer your question, kind of, toward the end of the story. Coach85
I read some where that he can attend on some sort of medical scholarship that will not count against the athletic count. Just glad to see UT and ATM stand by two kids who where committed early, but hit by carrier ending injuries beyond their control, stand by their word and find a way to honor these kids offers. Says a lot about those two programs. You probably saw what happened to the kid that committed to FAMU and they pulled scholarship the night before NSD. That aint right.
