IF Summer Creek must go to 5A, so should Humble High School

Both schools will have enrollments running neck and neck.  Why should SC go and not Humble.  Atascocita HS has 3,210 in 5A.  Many 5A schools will have 1,000 to 1,500 more kids than SC and Humble.  Expect Humble's numbers to increase as kids make their way back to Humble now that Humble has resolved it's rating issue.
Eventually we will be 5a (6a).  However that day is at least 2 to 3 alignments away.

Humble does not have the growth rate potential that SC does, the majority of our growth will come with a rezone.    Like i have said dozens of times, Summer Creek will be one of the largest if not the largest HS in Humble ISD in the future.  Humble will only  start to get close to reaching the 2600 capacity when SC gives back the HMS neighborhoods.  when they discussed this the past year, The district estimated that 125 kids would be effected at the freshman class move to HHS.  With the incoming freshman class(@HHS) estimated at around 425-445, it would take us roughly 5 years to get to a 2000+ enrollment on that alone.  Plus the slow growth of new neighborhoods (rustic Pines, Townsen Landing, Atascocita Heights, BlackStone Creek) about 3-4 years before we reach around 2200.      At that point we will be on the line (depending on how the 6a numbers are established.  Projections say enrollments as low as 2020+ will be 6a)

Int he same time period, SC is expect to nearly double in size.  Just last week KB homes bought a tract of land they will put 2000 homes off West lake houston parkway.

SC will go on before we will return back to 5a.  We still have some growing to do....lol.  By the way, our enrollments WILL never be neck and neck unless they add additional class room space and redraw EVERY high school south of the rivers lines.    They could make 3 equally sized 5a schools...but they never will.

All the haters from District 19 and 20 are predicting that SC will land in District 13-5A.  Look at the enrollments!  Most schools school on the list have 1500+ more kids!

Humble Atascocita 3210
Humble Kingwood 2580
Klein 3152
Klein Collins 3266
Klein Forest 3528
Klein Oak 3736
Spring 3493
Spring Dekaney 2720
Spring Westfield 3196
Here's an alternate hypothesis:

SC joining 13-5A would create a 10-team district, something that is very rare.

21-5A is currently a 7-team district. Channelview, La Porte, PAM and West Brook are at the lower end of the 5A size and have seen declining enrollment. If even just one were to decline to where it drops a division, UIL could put the Humble schools into 21-5A, making it at most a 9-team district.

Impossible to know at this point. Several schools moving up and down. Pearland Dawson and Friendswood are both in growing areas and were very near the 4A/5A cutoff last time. Likely to be a lot of district changes in next winter's realignment.
I said perviously i highly doubted that the UIL would put them in 13-5a.  They have never paired 10 team districts with non fellow ISD schools before (To my knowledge).    they could theoretically do it if the district operated in a zone A and Zone B format.  I highly doubt they leave 21-5a a 7 team district though...given the affinity to make Humble ISD schools drive down to the GT.

We'll see.  I gotta see how many from the middle school actually attend SC.  I believe there will be some going to Atascocita even though they're zoned form SC.  Also, just not seeing where all the explosive growth will come from unless those new homes get filled up with near-high school aged kids.  Humble really isn't that big of an area ...and we have THREE high schools.

Lets close down Humble HS ...send them to SC ...we'll own any district you put in.

DemDAWGS, you can look in the mirror and pretty much blame you and your delusional numbers, scenarios, excuses for loosing, etc., as to why there is so much hate from all of us with SC.  ALso the fact you sound like a broken record with the whole "GTown Robbed US!" crap.

Deunte Chatman of summer creek high will make sc offense that  more explosive and dangerous. He is steady improving. He runs a 4.49 now at 6'1 and 215lbs.

Chatman looked like a beast in the spring ball game.  Do me favor and run up the score on BH this year.  We don't want to hear any talk about their school being the one that lost by the LEAST.  I mean really.  Hang 70 on them.  Its time to put all these haters on notice for 2013.

You keep bring it up, not me.  But now that you brought it up ...yes, we were robbed by a team of seniors that played 5A the year prior.  SC has never played 5A.  We saw this same advantage the 1st year Humble dropped down.  The real Humble showed up the years prior.  I believe the same will be true of GTown.

Don't hate the TGSOT ...they're the hottest ticket in town ...and they're coming to a town near your.  Guess what, we're still the undefeated CHAMPS.  The GTown game has been stricken from the record books.
Win a 2nd round playoff game, i mean if SC is as great as you make them out to be they would have plenty of playoff wins already but i only see ONE.  ;D ;D ;D

The greatest CHOKE on turf got flat out beaten by a BETTER team than them 2nd round now they fans got a toddler temper-tantrum lol. 38-21 if i remind you. GTown ring a bell? That right there shows you a district title doesnt win playoff games: a Good team does.  ;)

Right now SC is the equivalent of BH come playoff time, one in the same. Good luck to Barbie's Hill and their LITTLE sis Summer's Eve.  ;D

Fans of schools the likes of Poor Arthur Memorial (Memorial is for the DEATH of winning seasons) are able to accept losing.  Here in Title Town ...an SC loss is so rare it's very, very difficult to deal with ...especially when being robbed.

Now ...wasn't PAM 4-2 in their district last year?  And you're in here talking trash on SC?  The Titans ..aka Little Tikes were 8-3 last year.  So that's three reasons right there for you  to not comment on SC's PERFECTION.

Garrity, you're about to witness something you've never seen at PAM ... that's two consecutive UNDEFEATED SEASONS ...A THIRD consecutive DISTRICT title ...AND Champagne for SC at the State Championship.

Titans?  Yeah right.  Little Tikes.

Title town? what kind of drug are you on? Win a Regional Title first (like PAM did recently) maybe we can have a convo about some type of recent success, yall overrated bullpups cant even get out the 2nd round LMAO and then blame enrollment for your loss.  ;D

Wasnt too long ago yall were getting whipped up and down the field by freaking Magnolia West of all teams. 41-19 could have been worse.  ;D

SC would go 2-4 in PAM district.. North Shore, LaPorte, Deer Park, PAM would all have SC screaming for mercy.
Go to PAM and see something SC hasn't done, multiple wins in playoffs

This team just started Varsity play THREE years ago.  The first year the school only had JV.  With that on the table, you chumps need to bow down to the rising program and REAL titans of the sport ...SUMMMER CREEK.

Manvel beat PAM like a rented mule.  AND they did it in Channelview no less.

SC is the best in the business right now ...kiss the ring this December.
