BRIDGE CITY -- Kevin Angelle struck out 15 batters and pitched a two-hitter to lead Bridge City to a 12-2 win over Beaumont Kelly and a 2-0 start in its own weekend baseball tournament.

The Cardinals earlier beat Beaumont Ozen 13-3 in a slugfest.

Jeff Stringer hit two home runs and teammates Casey Jackson and Angelle each added two-run dingers as Broc Haymon pitched a complete game
