Just got a text from a buddy in buna, it was alot of bad sportsmanship conduct after the game on the field. Got pretty nasty but no punches were thrown.

Wow. What was the cause of it all?

From what I was told, the kville coach tried to run the whole game and doesn't like losing.

Well I can understand not liking to lose. That's natural. What exactly happened? Just a little pushing, shoving, and talking mess?

I hate to say.... Cause I wasn't there but I know the admin from kville had to go out on the field and the players were escorted to the bus. The kville coach came after the Hemphill coach. maybe someone that was there can clarify.

If so, then that should warrant a suspension for that coach. If not by the UIL then the school district should step up and do it. I hope that was not the case. But if so, there is no room for that in the game. At all.

I was there. There were no punches, shoves, kicks, bites ect.... It was a very close game, emotions were high because it was a tight game decided on the last play with a hard tag at the plate. Hemphill and Kirbyville coaches had some words for each other because they had differing opinions on weather the tag at the plate was applied with excessive force. No one WENT AFTER anyone. In the end cooler heads prevailed. Great game by both teams.

The catcher was ejected for malicious contact on the last play of the game.  Good game by both teams but things did get a little heated at the end.
