  1. Xception704 is 100% correct with his statement. I was there also and seen it the same way. Sure wish someone could break out the game film and you all could see it for yourself.
  2. Dang!! I hate to hear this about Beard, he is a great asset to the team.
  3. Evidently some of you have not heard how Good the Raider's defense is but you will find out soon enough!! ;D
  4. For this area it is a nice facility. Definitely a upgrade from the '70s version PNG had before. Not downing PNGs facilities but if any of you ever get a chance to drive around the Dallas area check out some of their High School stadiums. THEY ARE AMAZING!!!
  5. If Lumberton wins the remaining two games they will not meet Dayton in the 1st round, they should play the 2nd seed in D2 of 19-4a
  6. The only thing that comes to mind about kicking the PAT is maybe some sort of points spread for the playoffs, but that is just a S.W.A.G!!
  7. What about the face mask on the kick-off return where the PNG guy nearly ripped the return mans (#10, sorry do not remember his name) head off? i guess you didn't see that huh. The REF's SUCKED and that is all there is to it. Glad the Raiders could overcome them too.
  8. I totally agree with you LHSALLZONE!! On another note Lumberton is going to HAVE to get some sort of passing game going, some quick passes!! We are not going to be able to do much with the one sided offense we have. PNG did a good job of slowing down our running game. If we can get a passing game developed it will losen the defense up and give Hannah and Beard some more running room.
  9. Do not get the misconseption that just because i grew up in Lumberton i know nothing about football. I know what i saw when the kid played against Lumberton. I have played college ball and also had teammates drafted to the NFL.From what i seen on the field all Willie has is size. He is not even close to being in the same league as Cardenas from Nederland. Also being a team player and a leader does not make you a great football player. Like I said he will not make a impact at the next level unless it is a real small school.
  10. I do not care what he did against Lumberton, he will not have a impact at the next level.
  11. The only thing he has going for him is his size. He runs kinda clumsy, doesn't have very good hands, and is slow. Sorry to knock the guy but this is just a honest review, I think scouts would see it the same way. He is a VERY easy target to find down field though with his size.
  12. Probably the BEST receiver in 20-4A!! Great hands, should be a great asset for LU!!
  13. Great job Coach Comeaux!! No since in trying to top that post seems like you have hit the nail on the head.
  14. You know Footbal is a TEAM sport though, without those other 10 players that one person would not be accomplishing what he is. I vote change the title to TEAM. My vote is for Lumberton Football TEAM!!
  15. I sure hope LCM turns things around, I live in Mauriceville and would like for my son to play for a descent program, I was at Lumberton and I know going 0-10 sucks. As long as LCM was competetive it would be ok. As for their program as long as they are not winning games it will be hard to keep those guys from going and playing baseball. LCM has a good baseball program and we all know we all want to win. Moody may be a good coach but he just is not a good fit for the LCM kids. They need someone that can also adapt to a school system, it is not always easy to get in there and change the kids. It is easy though to take what you have and motivate them in the right direction. Maybe someone with a Psychology minor heeheehee. There are alot of good athletes there though just need that right person who can fit in. Good Luck Bears!! As a LCM school district taxpayer I hope we can get it going in the right direction. If not I might have to use my parents address and send the kids to L-town hahahah!! J/K That wouldn't be a bad thing though.
  16. The answer to the previous question is WO-S vs Ennis, I think the year was 2002. WO-s didn't show up until the 2nd half. All in all 204A is a competetive district within itself. We really do not have alot of explosive offenses other than Nederland this year. Nederland actually looks to be very balanced with their attck. I do not know much about their defense this year. I think the other teams minus LCM match up very close on offense. Poor o LCM I sure hope they turn their program around.
  17. 34-20 L Town missed the PAT. L town held them got the ball back at the 8yd line and then scored.
