Get those linemen in the weight room and feed them!! Thats all they need! What yall forget is these kids are right out of high School and JC. Which neither have very good weight training programs. Lamar has just gotten their weight training facilities finished and it is one of the nicest facilities of any college. As long as the strength training coach knows his stuff and the guys work hard in that weight room we will all see a major improvement!!!

I agree Jeremy Johnson is NOT all that at QB! I have watched him play on a few occasions.I seen him under pressure against a Lumberton defense and only went BACKWARDS. The mediocre Raider defense had them 3rd and 50yds for the first. He didnt handle the pressure well!! He does have some speed and would be a great pick-up as ATHLETE. He will not do as good of a Job as Prewitt did to finish the year. Call me a HATER if you want but that is the way I see it!! Smith (the QB who had to sit out due to shoulder injury) and Prewitt will be the front runners at QB. Our real need is to bulk up the offensive line and defensive line!! They all need to be living in the weight room for the next year to prepare for 2011 season!!

KUDOS also goes out to Brad Croak from Vidor who is also on this team. He did not have a break out game this game but Croak led the team in receptions for the 2010 season!!

He also coached at South Park High School, SFA college, and was the AD at SFA.

I think he is doing ok after surgery and in the PT stage. I have never had that surgery so I dont know if its a painful one or not. BUT I expect him to be back next year ready to play some football.

He has a VERY good Mom and Dad to thank for a good up bringing too!!

Johnson is a good athlete but I dont know about QB. We need a big, smart, mobile QB for the furture. HMMMM any of those out there.

This LU football team is better than I have seen them play the past two games. I have attended every game except the McNeese game and there is no SPARK!! Offensive line cannot open even the smallest hole!  It cant be that hard to do a little run blocking!!   Defense isnt HITTING anyone and when they do its a shoulder NO ONE wraps up!!  As for Bevil being hurt, I call BS!! Seen him before the game walking without a limp, seen him come out without his ankle taped, then after the score got bad his ankle was taped. I am not impressed with him what so ever. Put someone else in the game if nothing more than to get them some reps and show Bevil he isn't the ONLY QB on the team!!! GET BACK TO THE BASICS!! Basic blocking,and tackling!! I dont mean to sound Negative but I think this team is better than they have been playing!! I am only a innocent bystander and will continue to support LU the entire game! I refuse to leave at halftime or 3rd qtr like some!!!
