SE Texans don't support girl's athletics worth a SH*T, and that's putting it mildly. Go to a girl's BB game in West Texas or the Panhandle and the stands will be packed and I guarantee the TV and newspaper coverage is equal to or in some cases better than that provided for boy's athletics.

Stelly is a good player and he'll get another chance next season. Trammell didn't have the season he had last year. He tore his right ACL during two a days and missed the first 4 games of the season until he could get a knee brace to allow him to play "until EC's season ended or his knee gave out". The kid showed a lot of cajones to play the entire season on a torn up knee.

EC has TT. I don't know if Vance has been cleared to play.

I believe the following is true: Tramain Thomas was District MVP Daniel Marsh was Offensive MVP Thomas Wolcott (Kountze) & Paul Trammell (EC) were Defensive Co-MVP

I saw DV play twice this year. Ya'll played a solid first half against EC and a good second half against Hardin. I was surprised the Pirates were winless in district.

What are Johnson's stats? Last I heard, he hasn't been much of a factor this year.

EC needs to stay focused on beating CC before they start worrying about potential second round opponents. The Bucs haven't been successful against mart in past years but hopefully this year will be different. Like the old saying goes ... the sun don't shine on the same dog's a$$ every day.

I think EC has a starting offensive tackle .... Arick Hartman ..... that's a freshman.

EC beat Hemphill last year in round 1. I can't recall the last time, if ever, that EC & CC played each other.

Kelley could meet up with Dallas Bishop Lynch. Bishop Lynch is coached by Bill Persinger who was one of my HS Coaches when I played in 1975. Persinger was one of the toughest coaches I ever had. I remember getting our butts handed to us one game. The next day in practice we ran grass drills, gassers & 100 yard bear crawls for over an hour. When it was over, he looked us in the eye and said "You SOB's remember this cause if you ever get beat like that again, this is what you can expect!"

True dat! That's why they play the games.

You have to give the edge to Newton if for no other reason than tradition but the Eagles would be foolish to take the Cougars for granted. Buna has a big ol' chip on their shoulder and those teams can get nasty and pull off an upset.

Vance is chomping at the bit to get back on the field. He suited up against Hardin but didn't get to play.

Hopefully Tramain is 100% to take some load off of Donte Raymond.

I understand one of the Hardin coaches refused to shake Coach Valastros hand after the game. I also understand one of the Hardin coaches called EC's Head Coach ValA$$ro. If this is true, that's pretty classless.
