  1. This is a big game for OF. They really need to win this one to stay in the playoff hunt. OF seems to be a different team when Statum is not on the mound and since he pitched Tuesday OF will throw their 2 and 3 guys.
  2. Man I remember when the Bobcat Relays was a huge event. Two days with anywhere from 10 to 15 teams on both the boys and girls side.

  5. That's interesting. I have not thought about Bradley. Not sure he would leave LSU to come to Lamar, but I can guarantee you that he could get some donors. Plus you're right he does recruit this area and the Houston area for LSU. Not sure about him building a program from scratch, but would love to see him come in as the DC, then be the head coach in the future.
  6. Statum has to be included as a top pitcher. 25 K's in two district games in not to bad!!
  7. And what new addition would that be?
  8. Yes we are. We are hoping to have it out next week!
  9. Academic All-State Guidelines: 1. Academic All-State athletes MUST BE GRADUATING SENIORS. 2. Must have an overall GPA average of 94 for grades 9-11. (Do NOT submit a nomination if your athlete does not meet this GPA requirement). 3. Must be a varsity participant in good standing and be of good moral character.
  10. This is from the TGCA website. II. ASSOCIATION COACHES A. Players may be nominated by member coaches only. B. All nominations must be made to TGCA no later than 12:00noon Monday before the state basketball tournament. C. Coaches may nominate as many of their own players as they choose. D. Stats must be included. So as far as Navasota players are concerned, either their coach is not a member of the TGCA or he did not nominate any of his players.
