This!!!  Our shooting was horrible.  Arceneaux and Dotson was off and we was horrible from the charity stripe.  Thank Goodness we got some good contributions from Payia.  

United better get Yates healthy.  They’re not winning state without him.   

I think we could.  It’s just that guys that usually are consistent at hitting shots for some reason were off last night.  Arceneaux and Dotson probably won’t even have that bad of a shooting game the rest of the season.  

Haggerty is a nice player.  He’s not close to Arceneaux or Yates imo.

They just want it to be a game, United has seen some of the best teams in the country and has made it to championship games of two big time tournaments. . United shouldn’t be challenged until deep in the playoffs. .

This is so so wrong of the West Orange community. Did we want Toby? I was the first person on this thread to suggest it. Yes, I think that was the majority’s pick but to show up and act a fool and disrespect Coach Hickman in front of his family is ridiculous. We can and should be better. 

I feel the BU team came out here and played well. They were short handed to start with out the leader of the group T-Arce.. They played this team tight until they found some matchups that they liked. Looks as if Soph Payia got hurt during the game. He might have been the best rebounder during the tourney for BU but he had to play big because of T’s absence. I think Dotson and Yates played well but they just needed one more kid to have a good game and they could have pulled it off. Porchia looked to be hurt also after that foul. Because until then BU was getting after they a””. Now fully loaded BU wins by 8-10pts.. Also think this tourney help a lot of kids gets some minutes and exposure. BU is in a better situation going forward depth wise

HF can play around if they want but they don’t want to see Silsbee in the 1st game of playoffs again. So y’all better get it together parents, Coaches, and kids.. just my observation because there seams to be some disfunction in HF..

Yea, true.  But I was talking about like tonight.  He pulled all 5 Starters out at the same time.  

Well, looks like Kimball stayed #1 and BU remains #2.  I kinda figured this would happen.  

It to me don't matter about the rankings ain't nothing but fool's gold. The real #1 when the best squad gets the gold hardware in March.

Yeah, it's weird. BU had a really good showing against top level competition.
Kimball lost 72 - 64 against ESD. That team then gets handled pretty easily by Dallas Carter. Oh well. All that really matters is who's left standing at the end.

I'll take Dville, BU, and (unfortunately) Faith Family out of those matchups.
Beaumont United should be #1 in 5A now. If the Episcopal Saints of whatever they're called can take out Kimball, there's no reason to think BU can't do it again.
