He’s done that before.  Kid has started on 2 state champion teams, 1 state finalist team.  Dotson is definitely like that.

I don’t know about 20years! Cause let’s be honest.. 20yr would be 2023-2003.. Going back to those 03 years.. it was Ozen number 1…then Kountze… Silsbee had some years and traditional have been tough but to say last 20… ? The beginning years Ozen don’t know the range but it was a couple years and last 4 BU.. so that leaves a Gap.. in your 20yr theory 

If you're talking about the last 4 seasons, it's United. If you are talking about the last 20 seasons, no one can compare to what Silsbee has done in that time period.
But, currently United and West Brook are the best. No question about it.

I'm a Silsbee Alumni and Silsbee has had some great teams. Beaumont United over the last 4 Years have been so dominant, Silsbee can't make that claim. Silsbee has had teams that have run thru all of Beaumont. There were years Silsbee beat down Central, Westbrook, and Ozen. There have been years Beaumont beat Silsbee by 30 and 40pts. United has 2 Rings and Silsbee has 2. United is #1 in Class 6A. Today,  Beaumont is the best in the state hands down. 

What makes silsbee the “king” of 409 basketball ? I just really wanna know 

BU had a good run for sure. But Silsbee is King in baskeball around here. Again... 6a vs 4a .....

Silsbee runs 409 in basketball and always will. 4a schools should NEVER be able to compete against 6A schools

Other than Silsbee/Wb…BU don’t play local teams in the area outside of District play. Memorial isn’t on schedule this year and Hj hasn’t played Bu in 3years..  Go look and see how many games local teams have played and this is Bu 3rd game..Already have to travel to Htown for most games.. played in Dallas on Saturday. I think it was a fill in game and it turned into feel good game for just about everyone.

I don't think Kountze winning the district is all that out there.  East Chambers lost a lot, Orangefield lost almost all their scoring, Anahuac lost the best big in the league, and Buna seems to be really down.  I still have EC I think.
My bold prediction is the the Dotson kid at BU signs with a major college program.

No.  6A is so tough.  So many dudes at that level.  But I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mr. Dotson make the list next year.

Like Ive stated once before, this is the most focus BU team Ive seen...

You dont hear a lot about Daniel Williams, but he was big on the defensive end in the first half 

One thing that impresses me with this team than the previous two is how well BU has been on the defensive end this year! I thought the past two years that side of the ball was very hard to watch a lot of times, however it seems they’ve flipped a switch this year. 

Dunk count was  1-0 btw ! 🤣
