Now I'm thrilled that we won...but am dreading that newbie kid's rants about how we're going to win state and beat everyone and blah blah bla . He embarrasses me. Sigh...

Why not? Should they have scheduled Navasota instead? This matchup has been both competetive and entertaining so i think Liberty is a great opponent to host for homecoming. 

Well considering the voter who gave them the vote, it is no surprise.

Double digit thrashing...from what I saw Diboll could've and should have won that game. New Caney's QB is legit though and the digs were impressive. 

I was unable to make the scrimmage, but got updates. Kibyville's defense played well holding Diboll scoreless throughout both the 15 play format and the live half. Kirbyville scored once during the 15 play format and was told that they won the live half 3-0. I'm not sure if that means they kicked a field goal or scored three times. 

After a full offseason program under coach Morrison, the Lumberjacks seem to have made some improvements, and had a solid scrimmage against Splendora Saturday. Kirbyville will be a tough test which is exactly what Diboll needs to see how they fair against a team who I believe has the potential to go the distance this year. Should be a fun scrimmage with a little intensity.

This thread was a question not a statement. I currently live down the street from stadium and I had not seen any matchups schedule yet. Thanks to this thread and the knowledgable forum members I can plan on catching a couple of games this weekend.

Might have to catch that one. El Campo has a good shot at Carthage this year.

I may become a fan of this 4 team format after all.

For those that were asking, yes, there is a chance that a 4th place team will be a 1st place team.

I could be way wrong but that is just my option based on Madisonville's depth at RB and their speed on defense. They literally pumped in a new RB every play. Now that did cost them a few fumbles but it was difficult for us (Diboll) to keep up with the fresh legs. If they get the fumbles under control they will definitely be a hard team to beat. They are also very good at shutting down the edges on D, so Diboll was forced to beat them up the middle which we obviously did. Then again Diboll is probably not the fastest team in the district so maybe one of those other teams can beat their speed on the edges. Yep should be interesting.

I want to see more from Madisonville. Diboll has been playings good teams. Coldsprings,Shephard, Diboll and Madisonville is my guess right now. Although Tarkington didnt look too bad last night. That qb can go.

Word to the wise....always expect an onside kick from Corrigan. I think that's their equalizer for being tired on defense.
