That was sarcasm at its best.    Team snacks and water do not count as bringing in outside food to feed an army.  As far as the rules go. I will abide by them.  If I must have something that I cannot get or cannot afford from the concession stand it is in my car, and I will have it there.

I appreciate your stance, and it is an honorable thing to abide by the rules, even if they are stupid ones.  Look, if someone eats their crappy homemade sandwich in their car or in the stands, the concession stand still gets no revenue.  I do not have the luxury of leaving the park, and I am there for hours.  I DARE anyone to try and stop me from eating a healthier meal than most all of the concession stands provide.
I got it... this should make everyone happy those bringing food into the game give a donation of $____ to the organization. Then you can eat your sandwich no matter how crappy it is when you have time of course.  :P

  2. Actually I was watching your band perform a very nice routine, and if you'll check the clock at the next game, given everything goes off on time, you will see that the bands will finish with about 3 or 4 minutes left. You know, time for the football teams to warm up.
And it allow the Lumberton fans time to get back to there seats in time to start complaining about the refs.  :P
  3. I hope that everything goes well. With the bands, drill teams, twillers, flag core, cheerleaders and football teams I just hope they have seperate performances. Unless it is planned of course.

Will it be the football team warming up while the band is playing? If so two thumbs down.  ;)

I'm questioning the PN-G turnout this year.  I went to the Ozen/PN-G game a few weeks ago and sat on PN-G side and there were a lot of seats left.  Maybe it was who they were playing, I guess.  But I don't think they come out real tough.

I went to a Nederland at Central game a few weeks ago (Central's Homecoming) and it seemed there were just as many if not more Nederland fans at that game.

  6. Not sure if anyone saw this but it was funny when I saw it so I will share. Lumberton had just had a long run right before half, so the ladies working the L-Train horn laid into the horn. Well there was a Nederland man standing near the Nederland band that was waving his arms side to side trying to get her to stop. He approached her and asked "I guess" if she could point the horn toward the Lumberton side. WOW I guess that is all it takes to get her jumping mad because she was. Now to her defense I did not hear the conversation only saw body language and jesters so maybe she was jumping and pointing and stomping because she was happy to move the horn. Or the man said it in an inapproprite manor. In the end the horn was moved after a second request. Just funny to watch. See there is so much more than just the FOOTBALL players so enjoy.
