Very good point.
-
Nederland White 42
Kountze 12
Kountze has some guys that can really scoot. -
On a day like this you could kill 2 birds with one stone (catch some sun while you cheer)
-
Looks like WOS is the team to beat. 2-5 is close but I think you have it about right.
-
I think that is the plan. Keep WOS defense on the field, and when WOS has the ball they will run to the sideline to get out of the way of the L-Train. ;D
-
We have a good week of practice I think you will see a more complete game out of us this week.
-
Guess we will see Saturday.

Wos will give 112%..their a good team, with great coaches..its gonna be 40 to 7..no team can beat them this year. .

No way WOS scores 40 points on Lumberton. Not unless half the team misses the first half of the game. -
WOS is still the team to beat I just think Lumberton Red is the team that can do it.
Hey by the way does anyone know how much an official makes per game? -
Lumberton has a very good chance to win. Coaches have them very prepared. The talent and size of the lineman are very good. Plus several players with great speed. I am sure several will dis-agree but I don't think WOS will be able to score many points on this defense.

Well... who was it and what was the score?

Team Record Comments
1 WOS--White 4-0 These two teams appear to be a cut above the rest.
2 Lumberton--White 4-0
3 Nederland White 4-0 Only given up 1 TD all season
4 WOS--Blue 3-1 Only loss to Lum-Wh.
5 PNG--White 2-2 Only losses to #1 and #2….tough schedule
6 Vidor White 3-1 5 out of the Top 10 are from Div 2…tough schedule upcoming
7 Bridge City 2-2 #7 overall and #4 in their division…Div 1 is strong
8 Nederland Gold 3-1 Look like Div 3 FrontRunners
9 Lumberton Red 2-2 These teams are close with 3 LC and Vid-Bl in the mix as well
10 Nederland Black 2-2
Again, just my opinion for fun....I will take the highest ranked team in each matchup. But it really appears that WOS-white and Lumberton White are playing at another level. After that, there are going to be some good teams left out of the playoff mix at the end.
Three out of your top four teams come from division one. Looks like the big 12 south a year ago. lol
-
Wow... The PNG-purple/BMT-gold game should have been a good game for both of those squads.
-
I would think it would come down to who is paired off with who in the playoffs, but I would think a 40 point improvement is a pretty big challenge for the WOS Blue team to overcome. Who knows anything can happen. I think there will be some very good teams having to watch the SB from the stands. The important thing is to win and lose with dignity.

I am sure there those on this site that could list some local past young players (lonestar, stjfl, pop warner, etc.) that have gone on to great players and people.
I would love to hear some more of the good stories these groups provide these young men and ladies.
On a side note
I think it would be awesome if some of the old players came back to the different clubs and share their experiences with the younger kids.
I think the kids would love to have a local high school star come in and talk and play with the kids. What do ya'll think?
