I have no dog in this race but is there any restrictions on student enrollement or location of home placed on PA? I think I read Beaumont could only draw kids from a certain area of Beaumont. Is that the case for PA?

I am sure others have noticed the 2 big billboards one on Hwy 365 and the other on Twin City Hwy in Mid County of the PNG youth football association. First off NICE... I just wanted to know how the different groups advertise to help build or promote their association? The billboards seem like a great idea to help cross promote the association and the sponsors. I know most groups send out flyers to schools but what other things are done to increase enrollment, revenue generators, and sponsorships?

The STJFL has board meetings 6-8 the first Wednesday of each month. I am sure this has been or will be worked out.

Hey just throwing this out there. I am a coach (well for what it is worth), a father and a football fanatic. By no means am I computer guru, but in my spare time I started a web site to share with others the hard work these young men do for FUN. I have had a blast doing this and only wish I knew how to do more. I have so many kids, parents, even grandparents thank me for what I do. I have been blessed that I have only missed a few of my sons games over the years and it give me great pleasure to know other get to share some of those memories with their friends and family by looking at their website. Last year my mother-in-law past away from cancer. She was not able to see many of my sons games because of her illness but she was able to visit the site to keep up with scores, news, and see photos of the games. There are plenty of smarter folks than me, SO I challenge each of the teams to invest the time and effort to share these memories of a lifetime. If your team plays the Sr. white team be sure to check out the pictures afer the game my wife and I post around 2-3 hundred pictures every game so your little one might just be in there.
I use Home Teams Online they have free sites or you can up-grade for some of the pay sites.

If the player moved to Silsbee how is this even news worthy? Now if he does not reside within the district that should peek some intrest within the community.

I like the Port Arthur website.

Not sure because I have not attended many Lumberton home football games but don't the annoucer have all the fans chant with him that is another lumberton FIRST DOWN. Great to have the crowd get behind their team. Now if they could just get more TOUCHDOWNS maybe they wouod really get behind them.

I can see the see the slogan now WWTRD "What would the REF do." ::)

I think the biggest problem has to be how to recognize a concussion. Coaches and parents have to be better prepared to recognize the systems. Currently do any organizations require some “first aid / medical examination training? Question does anyone remember back in the 80’s a San Francisco 49’er playing with a soft cover over his helmet? If so who was it and why? I have thought for years now that would lessen a helmet to helmet blow.

What are the game schedules?
-
Oh yeah well I bet you my golf team can beat your golf team... and don't get me started on the swim team. ;D WOS has a great football tradition. I would expect nothing but the best from anyone of those championship teams... but being a champion does not stop at the end of the game. Be a true champion on and off the field.

So 0 for 4 with one still pending right?
0 for 2 with one pending. One PNG game was a pre-district game. If you count all the Vidor and Lumberton games, we have more wins than losses I think. I am sure someone with more time may look it up. I have to run to Sam's to get tissue for the PNG fans and grab a thong for Soulja's debut on his new chopper. ;D ;D
Glad to see we have an Aggie calling this game for SETXSports. BH wins for sure now. Does the "Butch" has wifi?
Now 5 years of 4a with no playoff wins makes them 0-5 right? -
So 0 for 4 with one still pending right?

Just don't let him get too big for his britches. ;D
-
Just pants, especially if he is a center. ;D
The junior team was told they could wear any color.
Don't know about the others. -

]STJFL By-Laws:
SECTION 4. All participants will be certified according to the school in which they attend. In the case where a school district has more than one elementary or junior high, the STJFL board will make a determination as to how the association will have to split the participants in their association. The board will consider size of community, locations of schools, school boundaries, etc. while making its determination. Any child that is home or private schooled must be certified in the district they live in. No child will be allowed to play outside of their school district without a waiver from the STJFL Board. The STJFL Board will consider any exceptions or special considerations.
OK so are there any restrictions placed on PA by the STJFL Board?
9 Elementary Schools in PA it looks like they have an enrollement of around 5702 give or take.
3 Middle Schools in PA somewhere around 2021 enrollment.
