1. Nelson is a beast but I'll put Michael Shaw right up there with him. He does'nt quite have the numbers as Nelson but he just goes out and plays football. And he aint but about 130-140lbs soakin' wet.
 2. I agree. The teams that have nothing to lose are sometimes the scariest team to play. Dogs win big better closer than the central game. I agree. 38-10
 3. HAHA! Thats why i figured nobody has put the thread up yet so i figured I might as well just for fun. Your right. Its gonna be a blood bath.
 4. Who ya got? Think the dogs are gonna keep rolling to the district title.
two cents you keep whinning about losing your RB causing Vidor to lose..right..well Nederland had two starters (2) suspended for the Vidor game and the PN-G game. We could make an argument that we could have won more easily with those two players there but that would not be fair to the rest of our team(team) the guys that replaced them played incredible games at a time when the (team) needed them.  Besides the suspensions we have had our hands full with some key injuries too, that's all part of football. (whinning is not) Also be careful what you wish for cause if you get us again we'll shut ya down even worse.  Just my Bulldog opionion.
Ya know. Thats all I hear is if Livingston had their RB... and it almost sound like they want us to apologize for it. When Nederland the past 4-5 years has been eaten up with injuries and what not, and still had success and scraped to get to the post season. I dont think it would have mattered if that RB, Mays or whatever his name is, played or not. We still would have won the game.

This one will be ugly. Troy Benjamin runs all over the place for 3-4 touchdowns. And #2, Shaw. Playmaker. Just outstanding. Central is going to have fun with this Nederland team. 42-10 DOGS!
42 points?  Have nederland put up those kind of numbers this year?
Nope. We will this week.  ;)
Yea, yea, yea...  ;D ;D
Hehehe. Yep.  ;D

They look fired up to keep proving that they have a good team. Central is the next step. Their new offense looks like fits the athletes they have. DIDBA will be in the house !!!!
Any word on Cole Ogreziak (sp??) our kicker and if he will be returning this Friday?
Not sure. Jordan Wood was pretty good at the PAT last week, since thats the only field goals we'll be kicking Friday night.  ;) We're gonna beat the breaks off of Central. Our defense is too nasty.
Very confident that have been beating their oponents by 1 scores.  That don't sond like 'beating the brakes' off of anyone.  Do you really belive those words that you've just typed?  Let me remind you, We're not Ozen.  You may have been beating their brakes off and have us mistaken for them.  We make a living sending stray mutts to the pound, year after year.  ;) ;D ;) ;D
All honesty, I keep hearing out of the two of y'all, Ozen has the better team. Now, I havnt gotten to see them play yet.
Drew Brees- Texas kid. Matthew Stafford- Texas kid. Andrian Peterson- Texas Kid. Greg McCleroy (Alabama QB)- Texas kid. Chase Daniels (Drew Brees' backup)- Texas kid. You'd be surprized on how many Texas High School players play out of state. A LOT!
Maybe 9 screaming fans.. the rest just sit there like its a funeral.. of course I am being a little exaggerated but thats what it feels like. I hate having to yell at fans to get on their feet to make some noise. makes me feel like im a lunatic..
Why do you feel that you must yell at people to get on thier feet and scream when they paid the same ticket price you did? Maybe they just enjoy watching the game and letting the cheerleaders lead the cheers.  Should be a great game!
Then they can stay at home and watch the replay on tv. We are there for the players, not for ourselves. As a former player, believe me, it makes a difference when your fans are loud. Our cheerleaders don't know when to cheer. There are a few of us in the stands that start the DEFENSE chant on third or fourth down and the cheerleaders join in after we start it. Also, they seem to always want to do cheers while we are on offense. Especially the two bits-four bits. That's the worse time for us to cheer. Not their faults, I don't expect them to know everything about football.  But that's why the few of us in the stands start getting loud at certain points of the game... We are there for the football team. Not to watch halftime or anything else.. I'm sure some will take that the wrong way but I'm not going to explain what I mean. If you don't get the point then that's your issue. Way off topic so let me get it back on track. Our receivers are going to need to step up big this week. I would like to see Kimler more invovled. Kids an athlete...
Ok godog27 you have rattled my cage and I was behind you till you said we are there for the football game and not the half time show. I have a Westernaire who bust her rear end everyday getting ready for the half time show. I would bet she knows more about whats going on during the game than half the stands. So DONT DISS THE HALF TIME. Take out all the kids and their supporters there to support the dogs that perform half time out of the stadium and you dont have the stands close to full. Yes I do agree I played at PNG and the crowd does get the team fired up but, silence the band, drill team, twirlers, cheer leaders, and flags and see how quiet the stands will be.
My intention was not to diminish the efforts of the other groups involved. It was directed at the band parents, etc. who leave after halftime regardless of the score.  They also cheer so loud at halftime but are dead silent the rest of the game. That was my point. Only saying that without the football team there would be no halftime show for their children to perform. I know the other groups put in a lot of hard work to put on a good show. I just hate the parents who don't root for the team and only care about halftime...
There ya go. I mean at the PNG game, we didnt hardly make as much noise as we use to. Like I said before, Bulldog stadium USE TO BE one of the most feared places to play on Friday nights. Not anymore.
 13. Well I dont know if y'all are seeing what I'm seeing, but Nederland has some BIG MONSTERS on the defensive line. I dont know if PNG's offensive line is that bad but if they are, PNG's QB wont last the rest of the season. This is probably the best and biggest Defensive line Livingston has seen all year. And I'm impressed with Troy Benjamin. He finally ran over some dudes, and finally busted a big run last week. This is gonna be a fun game to watch. I'll say 38-17 Nederland. Go Dogs!
 14. HAHAHA! Dogs all the way baby! Carson had a couple hicups in that Vidor game but he'll be just fine against PNG. Looks like we finally got a little running game. The only thing about that #1 Runningback we got... Benjamin I believe, is that if he has space, he's gone. But you lay a finger on him, he falls down. I think we need to run #24 more often. He runs a little harder and isnt as small in the butt where he doesnt go down as easy. Gonna be a good one! 28-24 Dogs!
 15. I graduated in 2006 from Nederland. When I was in high school, Texas High School Football Magazine had Bulldog Stadium as one of the most "feared" places to play on Friday nights. It's not like that anymore. I hate to say it, but it's just not.
 16. Well me and my buddies had the big shakers at the Nederland games. People would tell us to sit down and be quiet. That's the reason I quit doing them. I got tired of people crying about it. I'm sorry. It's not like were are at a FOOTBALL GAME or anything. It's a FOOTBALL game. It's loud, rough and nasty. Get in to it! Come on people! Pull your head out!
 17. I believe brown is still out with concussion issues. We might have a couple minor injuries. I didnt make last weeks game so im not quiet sure.
 18. Yeeaah buddy! It is game day! Dogs gonna bust it open tonight!

BH is a very good football team, but i think we beat the bricks off 'em. Defense will bring the wood and our running game will shine (200+ yards rushing.) 35-14 Dogs, making us 3-0.
Wasn't 07 the 63-0 game?
It might have been. I've tried to block that out of my memory. Haha. The '07 year was when we went 7-0 (beat brehnam after losing sampere in that game), got beat by PNG at home, and everything went downhill from there. didnt even make the playoffs that year. It might not be the 2007 year. I'm pretty sure it was, though. We started out red hot that year. Got flattened by PNG and never got back on track afterwards.
 20. Yes I do. I believe we are going to bust it open this week and find ourselves on offense.
 21. This will be the first time we will be 3-0 going into district play since the '07 season, I believe. BH is a very good football team, but i think we beat the bricks off 'em. Defense will bring the wood and our running game will shine (200+ yards rushing.) 35-14 Dogs, making us 3-0.
 22. Well, I mean it just seemed like we wore them out. But either way both teams played won heelofagame. and for us to beat one of the top teams in 3a thats says alot.
 23. Yes sir. I believe we wanted that game more, but what really, in my opionion, seemed to be the deal with that game, we wore WOS out. We were in better shape. They were more fatigued than we were at the end.
