Nederland Dog 2006

Well, according to Dave Campbell Texas Football WOS was ranked number 7 in 3A I believe? What does this mean for the Dogs? Coming back and beating this team that was by far bigger and quicker than we were. Dunno. I dont know really what to make of this Nederland team yet. We looked pretty good that 4th quarter, though.

Dang. If Brown has a concussion he will be out for a couple weeks. We need him. That kid just plays ball, boy! Other than that I think we came outta that game pretty healthy. Couple kids were cramping, though.

Someone told me the other day Roy Nelson is fighting Shane Carwin in his next fight. Anybody else heard this?

Well I think the only fight worth seeing GSP in is if he fought Anderson Silva. But I don't see GSP moving up a weight class or Anderson moving down. Those two are the only two who can test each others skills. Other than that. Nobody in welterweight can really hang with GSP besides maybe Matt Hughes or BJ Penn, but you saw what GSP did to those two. And middleweight....Anderson is just the man. Only one who has a chance is maybe Nate "The Great." Thats about it. Not much competition in those two weight classes right now. Just my opinion.

Vidor runs a dang good offensive scheme. Very good running attack... As far as I know. They ran all over us. Don't know if that's saying much. Ha! I'll go with Vidor by 2 touchdowns.

wasn't able to go to the livingston game so don't know what our team is looking like as far as injuries ect. But I'm going to go back all the way to goose creek game. Sonnier in the wildcat is lethal. Dionte playaction is good. It worked against PNG. IT WILL NOT WORK AGAINST CENTRAL. They are too fast. We have got to pound the rock. Wear their defense down. Then hit em up top. Run the ball. Gas their defense and keep there offense off the field. Nederland by a touchdown.

Mir/Cro Cop...Who ya got?

You know, just my opinion here, but I see a couple kids who have playmaker ability. But overall, this nederland team, to me, is just that team that has a bunch of just good football players. Good size on offensive line and defensive line. Looks like we found our running game last week. That young quarterback gets better little by little each week. Just a solid football team. Solid. I would like to see a couple more kids on the sideline line suited up. We are starting to look thin.
