1. Faircloth has done an outstanding job over there across the tracks, but with the way Nederland started this year with injuries and whatnot and going this far to control our own destiny. Nuemenn deserves it. Keeping this team focused on the goal cause how easy would it have been for this team to just quit? Larry gets my vote.
 2. Ok. So how can we not meet them in the playoffs? Region 1 and Region 2 thing? I don't know how that works.
 3. I'll be honest, I don't know how all the region 1 and region 2 and whatever works really. :-\ So if that's what you are talking about ok. On topic. Central is going down. Scalp em! I can't believe I just said that.
 4. I hope and pray we meat ya'll in the playoffs. How sweet it would be.
 5.
You all already made the playoffs you just start a week early!   Good luck to the hardest luck team in Texas!
That aint no lie.
 6. This is as far back as I remember. We beat Friendswood in Rice stadium when they were #2 in state. Ya'll beat us in double OT at ya'll place and we beat ya'll the following year in double OT at our place then ya'll beat us this year. So as far as I'm concerned 20-4A (Nederland) has done more than just hung with ya'll the past years. Sorry for coming off the subject guys. Just trying to make my point.
 7. I see Nederland fighting and clawing for every inch. They are hungry and we want the playoffs. We want that 0-0 recrod again. 8)
You mean the 6-3 friendswood mustangs?  Heck, he might even be a Houston Yates jockstrap supporter (but I doubt that)
by far the best 6-3 team in the state.  Don't let that record fool you!
Hehe....
 9. PNG is going to roll. 35-17. Represent Mid County strong, fellas! ;D
 10. I just don't understand why you think this district is overrated. Nederland has had one of the most succesful football programs the last 15 years. Port Neches-Groves has had their fair share of playoff runs, has a number of State titles and were state finalists in 2000(i think). All of the Beaumont schools are always competitive. Vidor you never know. LCM, well there's always next year. Whatever district you hail from and team you are a part of,which I'm sure is succesful, put them in our district and you would not be singing the same song.
 11. Sounds like he's a friendswood fan.

K
I've asked Itch where he hales from in previous posts.  All he knows how to do is knock on teams that he is envious of.
Haters man. Gotta love em.
 13.
If you survive round one we will talk! K
Ok. I'm going out on a limb so take note people. We beat Lumberton, and make it through AT LEAST two rounds of the playoff atmosphere. Maybe more. That's how better we have gotten and different of a team we have. But I guarantee you Mid County and Central will go at least 2 rounds.
 14.
A little west and I would love to say you will see but I dont anyone from 20 4A does!!
You're not much of a 20-4A fan are ya, hoss?
 15.

I just hope the Dogs don't take Lumberton lightly, they've had our number the last 2 seasons. I don't think Neumann will allow our new found confidence blind us this week anyway. BTW - I don't if Raider fans should be throwing the history card out there lol! Given Lumberton has beat us the last 2 years. Other than that, Nederland has brutalized the Raiders. All this being said, I hope the Dogs stay focused snd punch their ticket to the dance for the 12th time in 13 years. Ned by 14
My point exactly, Lumberton really doesn't want to get into a history lesson here....I see Dionte going off against Lumberton for about 250 yards and Lovelady throwing down over 100 rushing....This game has ugly potential all over it....
I agree, Mr. Mosley. We are not the same team today as we were at the begining of district. Lumberton won't know what hit them. I agree also. Dionte 250-300 yards slinging the rock, and Lovelady bulldozing for 100+.
 16. There is one kid that I did like. Came out of South Lake Carol. Played for Mizzou. Chase Daniels. Wasn't even drafted but I did see him on the Saints sideline last night, suited up. I guess he's a third stringer.
 17. He is a junior this year I believe.
 18.
I have been pretty impressed with those DAWGS lately! New QB has been very good in what I have seen of him. I pick Nederland...
Oh yes. Dionte is a stud, man. He has stepped up and has really performed. He is not scared at all to extend the play and sling the rock.
 19. Have you been smoking something, hoss? Really? You can HONESTLY say with confidence that this area lacks football talent? Wow. Hmph. We got a late Trick and Treat after Halloween fellas.
 20.
Nederland squeeks into the playoffs after being counted completely out!
Man when you say squeek you aint kidding. What a crazy season man.
 21.
Let's not forget Bubba Smith, Bum Phillips, Wade Phillips, Jimmy Johnson and R.C. Slocum....Sorry Scratchy...thought these river bottom boys belonged on the list too.
Nice. That was a no brainer. Can't believe that slipped my mind. That running back from West Brook went to Texas A&M. He's gonna be a good one. Stephan Huber went to Baylor. I think he's starting as a freshman (could be wrong.) No offense but why make a ignorant statement like that. And I think alot more could have played at the next level just get the opportunity.
 22.
Keep patting yourself on the back.  I think thats a good ideal you can make a list of every football player that came from all your local schools and went to the next level.  That way in a few weeks you can all sit around the river bank and talk about all the names on the list while your nephuncles are checking the trot lines.  Cause there will be no more football at the 4A level in your area to be played in a few weeks.
Haha. What have you been drinking today, buddy? You ok?
 23. Heck yeah dude. Lets name them. Dustin Long, Dravanti Johnson, Jamalle Charles, Those two kids who are playing for texas that went to West Orange Stark, Dustin Hood went to play Baseball for Wake Forest, but could have been a solid college QB, Ryan Butler played D2 or D3 college ball. Couple of Mid County Boys going to play football at Lamar. Curtis Parks kicked for Sam Houston I believe. The Mayhew Brothers from Nederland, and I still say to this day Dustin Long could have gone pro. Mohica Should have done better for himself. That's one reason I for one love that We are getting college football back down here. Maybe some of these NFL scouts can see what kind of talent this are offers.
 24. So we win we are in. we lose then ozen has to lose. Sweet. ;D
