Nederland Dog 2006

Faircloth has done an outstanding job over there across the tracks, but with the way Nederland started this year with injuries and whatnot and going this far to control our own destiny. Nuemenn deserves it. Keeping this team focused on the goal cause how easy would it have been for this team to just quit? Larry gets my vote.

Ok. So how can we not meet them in the playoffs? Region 1 and Region 2 thing? I don't know how that works.

I'll be honest, I don't know how all the region 1 and region 2 and whatever works really. :-\ So if that's what you are talking about ok. On topic. Central is going down. Scalp em! I can't believe I just said that.

I hope and pray we meat ya'll in the playoffs. How sweet it would be.

This is as far back as I remember. We beat Friendswood in Rice stadium when they were #2 in state. Ya'll beat us in double OT at ya'll place and we beat ya'll the following year in double OT at our place then ya'll beat us this year. So as far as I'm concerned 20-4A (Nederland) has done more than just hung with ya'll the past years. Sorry for coming off the subject guys. Just trying to make my point.

I see Nederland fighting and clawing for every inch. They are hungry and we want the playoffs. We want that 0-0 recrod again. 8)

I just don't understand why you think this district is overrated. Nederland has had one of the most succesful football programs the last 15 years. Port Neches-Groves has had their fair share of playoff runs, has a number of State titles and were state finalists in 2000(i think). All of the Beaumont schools are always competitive. Vidor you never know. LCM, well there's always next year. Whatever district you hail from and team you are a part of,which I'm sure is succesful, put them in our district and you would not be singing the same song.

We beat Lumberton, and make it through AT LEAST two rounds of the playoff atmosphere. Maybe more. That's how better we have gotten and different of a team we have. But I guarantee you Mid County and Central will go at least 2 rounds.

Dionte 250-300 yards slinging the rock, and Lovelady bulldozing for 100+.

There is one kid that I did like. Came out of South Lake Carol. Played for Mizzou. Chase Daniels. Wasn't even drafted but I did see him on the Saints sideline last night, suited up. I guess he's a third stringer.

He is a junior this year I believe.

Heck yeah dude. Lets name them. Dustin Long, Dravanti Johnson, Jamalle Charles, Those two kids who are playing for texas that went to West Orange Stark, Dustin Hood went to play Baseball for Wake Forest, but could have been a solid college QB, Ryan Butler played D2 or D3 college ball. Couple of Mid County Boys going to play football at Lamar. Curtis Parks kicked for Sam Houston I believe. The Mayhew Brothers from Nederland, and I still say to this day Dustin Long could have gone pro. Mohica Should have done better for himself. That's one reason I for one love that We are getting college football back down here. Maybe some of these NFL scouts can see what kind of talent this are offers.
