  1. You could have a nice portable bed set up in the basement of the NRA armory. And have a glock sitting on a night stand on one side, and a .357 on a stand on the other. And if heaven decides it is time for you to go, guess what, you are going to go.
  2. I drop a few hints and glimpses of some things I know about. If you pick up on it and look into it good. If you don't still good.
  3. It is important to Melania and it should be important to everyone else.
  4. Some of the bloodiest killers in world history were nominal christians. The title 'christian' doesn't mean much if the person is just going through the motions. Besides, per the constitution, or wherever it is made into law, as of now they have term limits on the presidency. The sitting prez can serve two four year terms and that's it. His, or her political career is basically over. Obama did his two terms. The spirit of prophecy says that every aspect of the us constitution will be repudiated in the last days. I know if you can't hang with daniel and the revelation, you for sure can't handle the spirit of prophecy, but there it is. So, based oh prophecy, some president, maybe 45, will serve more than two terms. I think one of the Roosevelts served 4 terms, but he was the last one to do it. I don't think Obama is coming back. You all can rest easy.
  5. Somebody, somewhere will show up, I guess. Texas is a big state, lots of 4A teams. There's a young freshman phenom somewhere.
  6. 45 is crazier than cat poop and yet you find time to demean ex prez Obama? but that's the way this crazy world thinks now.
  7. Chris Martin was playing some good ball.
  8. Man I love 3rd ward, South Acres, sunny side. I've mostly lived in the North, but I like the culture over there. I go to church right there are Scott & Airport, at the WHO 7th day adventist church. It is hard to practice being an SDA and follow Silsbee basketball, very hard. Frenchy's, This Is It. I need to visit that jamaican place on Almeda. My sister had a barber shop over on Holman Street for a long time. My heart is still in Silsbee, but 3rd ward & the Southside, we cool.
  9. I don't think just any team can run the Argyle offense, but Argyle. If a team is used to running and then all of a sudden tries to run that slow down style it doesn't work. Argyle runs their offense year in and year out. They go out and test it against all those good to great 4A teams in North and West Texas. I don't think Yates or anyone else can adjust to playing like that, not effectively anyway.
  10. I think Bayou city 713 changed his name to Mohead2000. Bayou is that you? If that is that's kinda flakey man. Lol. I got much respect for the PVIL teams, like Yates, that are still around. I am old enough to remember so aspects of that era. I am glad Silsbee hasn't let the legendary programs crush their spirit. They jumped up and won two in a row and that will stand in history for a minute. I know, it pales in comparison to those PA Lincoln years, and Yates in 2009 - 2010. Or Wheatley from '68 to about '73 or '74. I tell you what, more than a few folks in 3rd ward, and W Dallas got on google maps to find out where exactly Silsbee is located. There was a time not long ago when people in the big Cities didn't know Silsbee existed. They called the town Simonton, or Sealey, And that still exists, but that's alright. As long as the UIL spelled Silsbee right on the plaques and trophies.
  11. What does Yates have coming back? Maybe another team will step up, like Sterling again.
  12. My main concern for next year is who is going to play down low, in the paint? I said the same thing at the end of the season last year when Willie Jones III left. Kalon Barnes played great, but now he is gone. Someone coming through with a nice growth spurt would be nice.
  13. Lincoln had Carter's number during the regular season. Maybe it was playoff pressure that made the difference when they met the third time. Both were better than Yates. So, where does Yates go now that the big two are gone? You really can't write them off because those feeder middle schools in third ward produce lots of b ball talent year in and year out. I wonder if Carter was just blessed with good shooters or do they have some drill they practice.
  14. Bayou City 713 was blowing all that hot air, being critical of Silsbee. He was starting to get philosophical with it. Talking all that don't drink the Silsbee kool aide yadda yadda. Then Silsbee gets the better of Yates and he runs off and hides.
  15. That fifth blocking foul on Carter's Stearns could of goner either way. The ref was there and saw what he saw.
  16. Still getting used to, digesting this two piece, (two peat), but yeah a 3peat is definitely something to go for. Why not? Got the big 3 together for one more season. Losing some good ones, like Kalon Barnes, but got some good ones blossoming, like Chris Martin. Got some even younger ones coming in. I thought a 2 peat was next to impossible when I saw the tigers play earlier during the holidays. But as everyone said, the settle down and got it together. As I heard coach Sigler say in a video recently this definitely puts Silsbee on the map, so to speak. They will get to play in all the best tournaments, but they had that going on before. They will be in everyone's cross hairs, everybody want to get on the floor and play them, PA Memorial, for sure, cy falls, cy this,, cy that...maybe even Allen. All those 6A schools should be shamed for letting Allen win a championship in football and basketball, in the same season. Btw, congrats to Allen. peace.
  17. Devon was a beast. As was Bush. The whole team. But Devon, man! He was tossing laser, no look passes. If Silsbee needed a bucket he would carve his way into the paint and toss it in. Carter couldn't do anything about it. Carter was the best, 2nd best, 4A team I've this year. That Zahad Munford guy, wow. He was strong on the boards, and hit six 3s. That whole team could shoot, lights out. That's another thing, Devon broke out with the outside shot! He was hitting with it too. He was playing like he had some stuff on his back that he wanted to shake off. He left all that stuff laying on the floor. Great game # 3.
  18. Hats off and respect to Dallas Carter. Seemed like everybody on that team could hit 3 pointers.
