Deionte Thompson, safety for the West-Orange Stark football team has been named an Under Armour All-American. The rosters were released on December 4th. But I haven't seen anything on here about it! Congrats DT!

Everyone remember 1 thing DT doesn't worry about these all state teams,etc.he has much much bigger fish to fry!!

Dravanti was a three star LB then committed to UT and instantly became a four star LB. Sure would look bad for UT if he didnt make AllState. Wink wink.
To answer your question earlier. Dustin Long did make All State. As did Brown.

Oh and DT probably shoulda been 4A player of the year in the state. Dont think so, ask any team that played WOS. Big play after big play on both sidesof the ball and Special Teams.

I sure hope so. May the best team win.

And hats off to little Jack. He took control of that game and made some clutch plays. Some of his runs were amazing.

Funny how so many folks from outside of the area wish to dance on the Mustangs' grave.  One problem, THEY AIN'T DEAD!!!

Besides the return play, I was impressed with D.T.'s ability to calm his offense and defense down during the early start of the game. This team compliment each other very well. Unity, determination, athleticism, grit,coaching and all other adjectives helped pulled out a win for WOS. We will need those 2x's as much this Friday. We can do it Mustangs! 

Oh, you so want this to happen. How many times since last week have we seen your "good job WO-S for beating my Leps, but Gilmer will get ya" wishful posts? :rolleyes:   

Just another in a line of great Mustangs making great plays.  Alabama is getting a tremendous athlete.

I have watched a lot of Mustang football over the years, this return ranks #1 IMO. His return completely sealed the deal for WOS. He played like the All American Title assigned to him. Way to go young man!

And since we're on the subject of positive or negative... You guys act like it's difficult to pick us to win a game. We have blasted everyone we've played... Have you looked at the scores???? You could barely muster to pick us over LM and said, "it'll be closer than people think"- BLOW OUT, they didn't even cross the 50. Then the following week unanimously pick us to lose to LG- BLOW OUT. This week you could barely manage to pick us again... When will you believe???
 
All the while, you BOTH have a tight grasp on the Gilmer sack, a team that wouldn't even be here if not for a mental error on a GW teenager while he's running free down the sideline. 
 
I know it really doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things, but dang, give our kids some credit. 

You can tell by listening that they know absolutely nothing about WOS.

At the game last week when LG was driving late in the 4th coach T called a time out. I was thinking to myself he 's telling them I know we got this BUT WE AIN'T GOING TO FINISH THIS WAY...after the time out they stopped them.lol

I just watched the video. I can say this, its not about DT going to Alabama its not about how many kids they have going to a college for a scholarship either. Not sure why the coach even said that, Its about HEART and DETERMINATION and the Stangs are ready to play!

if they want to stop them, our dbs going to have to step up and make the stops. We have some dbs that will challenge, get some int ......hopefully. But we're just glad our team gets a shot at yall.
