Either way it ain’t enough to compete at the 5A/6A level! Make one big brand new school hire a good HC (it’s plenty in that area) and you’ll retain those kids.

I’m hearing things got very interesting at the board meeting tonight. Very disgruntled board members about the hiring process.

Only way any of the Baytown schools will have a chance to be competitive is if they combine then all into one school. Ain’t enough talent in Baytown for 3 separate HS.

I can confirm that only one person on this list actually got an interview for this job & that’s Drenard. First round of interviews are being conducted today.

Only on SETX does state championship rings not speak volumes 🤣 & the difference between me & the rest of the posters on here I actually lived the stuff y'all get on here & pretend to be experts about and I’m stamped by a HOF coach in Jon Kay. That’s part of it…but that still would hurt the success of the basketball program if Beaumont had just one school. It’s long over due honestly.

Yeah I get that…but the poster was saying they wouldn’t be able to develop cause they wouldn’t play due to too much talent being on one team. I just used DV as an example of have a team full of talent and still finding a way to play everyone and getting them division 1 scholarships still.
