HJ beat Houston Washington 17-2 this morning and then beat Cleveland 15-0 this afternoon.

Kelly is a hell of a good team.... Coach Neale has done an awesome job with those boys... Happy for you guys, top notch....

Heheheeeeeee...... I don't think either of those boys made any errors..... Just having a little trouble at the plate, but I have not seen 1 kid, including the 2 that have signed, go up to the plate and hit a piss-rod every time.... Pomirko had a great at bat... Got walked, stole a base, and scored on a passed ball.... Calm down, give coach Erickson a chance..... He's a baseball guy.... Hey, this is not typical HJ baseball... We are fairly deep on the hill this year... He is dealing with the loss of Haskett and Julian only being there half the time... Got some really good freshman that just need to settle down and relax.. I thought we showed some good signs Friday in Splendora... I think the only issue we have is too many balls falling in the outfield or routine base hits turning into doubles... If we can shore that up, we will be solid....

Tony, I'm not sleepin on WOS.... I think BC and Silsbee are "personal" rivals LOL..... You guys should be good too. There are some Silsbee fans that need to be put in their place ya know? And BC is just always good on the baseball field... Contrary to popular belief, before Dubois got to HJ, we were looking to, how should I say this, change our residence..... Aaron wanted to move to WOS. His exact words were (because they are good at everything)... Plus he has played ball with and against the Anderson twins since he was 9 and with Grant LaPoint... He has known big Cam since they were in daycare together... The WOS/HJ baseball game is always a close one... Never any fan bad blood...  When Aaron was a sophomore, there was some fan down on the 3rd base line in Silsbee yelling at Aaron everytime he would break his hands... A grown man yelling "put a fork in him!!!"... "He's done!!!"... I understand there is always going to be trash talking... But I felt it was being aimed at Aaron because of what I post on here... Just rubbed me the wrong way... Plus, I love ya'lls field... It has a "Baseball Atmosphere" about it....

Roe Wilkins comes from a hard working family out in Sour Lake. That boy has been in the hay field since he could walk.... This kid will be a big contributor for LU before his time is done, probably sooner than later... He makes straight "A's" and has the best "yes sir-no sir" attitude than anyone else I know... Roe will be successful in anything he chooses to do because he has a hell of a work ethic. Roe, I congratulate you for all of your accomplishments, good luck buddy... I also want to congratulate your mom and dad on a job well done... Diana and Monroe are 2 of the best people you will ever meet.... I have not heard anything about Dubois even thinking about this job.... My 2 cents???? I think it was the worst move Martel ever made.... When I asked Finis Vanover why he did not apply for the HJ job 2 years ago, his reply was " you never go back"....

LaGrange is a good team. They made adjustments the whole game. They were very disciplined on defense... They did not pack the box with 10 or 11 players like everyone else has done, they changed their stunts and made the d look the same every play... I couldn't tell if we made any adjustments... Not griping, just didn't see any... I'm proud of our boys, they played 4 full quarters of intense football.... LaGrange hung with it, capitalized on our few mistakes, and got the win... Congrats, my hats off to you guys, you will have your hands full with WOS. WOS fans, don't think because you beat us, and we stayed with them that it will be a cake walk..... These coaches and players are very disciplined... They will find a weakness sooner or later.... Hopefully for WOS, it will be later... Good luck!
