2. HJ Sophmore Aaron Edelmon just hit a grand slam against East Chambers HJ Senior Shane Obannion hit solo homerun against East Chambers.
3. Yea guys, why cant we all be friends... These young men have both trained very hatd over the years and deserve much better recognition than this... Duplants better...
4. Yea,your right, Im gonna be quiet now...
5. True, BC got beat by 11 by 3A Burnet and HJ beat Lumberton this morning. You guys are right, HJ should just forfeit the district games.
6.
1) Bridge City - Guidry and Shuggart are about as good of a 1,2 as you will find . Uzzle and Sampere can flat out hit as well as a few others 2) Silsbee - Very strong Junior class with Powell, Gorr, LeBlanc also the new kid will help in the outfield. Should be competitive 3) Buna - Despite the loss of Franklin, they still have a deep staff and a scrappy offense with the Clark boys. 4) HF - Jeffcoat and Jannise will front the rotation with Herring also seeing a lot of innings. Pitching should keep them in the game but offense will be the question
HJ has played 3 games so far, outscored their opponents 33-1 and Duplant hasnt seen the mound yet... He gets the ball against Lumberton this morning at 9. Heard Bridge City got beat by Burnet yesterday 12-1? Sounds like everyone has a shot this year...
7. Wooooooohooooooo! The ban was lifted people!
8. I'll say this, they did an excellent job at DE. They were able to turn 95% of the opposing teams plays inside and our safety was able to be the leading tackler and Player of the week every week...
9. Whoever the starter are, he would give them a run for their money. Both our DE's would...
10. You guys kill me, it seems no matter what  say, your gonna get me! Its like you get on here, jack with people till they take up for themselves, in this case the no talented kids at HJ, then you gang up on people. Makes your serious post seem not so serious. You guys are lucky to have me on here otherwise, you would have to jack with somebody else from a good school.
11. Well I have to say yes. I realize its only "no talent" HJ, but my oldest started as a freshman on varsity last year and a sophmore this year. 6'4" 215 and he has great leverage. Great DE coach at HJ in Fogo. Yes, totally, come to a game next year, look him up in the program and see for yourself... We aint skeered....
12. This district this year will be a toss-up. I dont think BC runs the table like they have the last few years. HJ has its share of good pitchers and yes Duplant will be able to match any teams best. WOS cant be counted out with the Anderson boys and (I cant think of his name sophmore)... Silsbee is always strong as is Orangefield. Buna lost a great kid that will be hard to replace. Dont know about HF.
13.

Mytwocents, does your nose bleed every 28 days? You could stuff that tampon up your nose to stop the bleeding...
bedelmon you are one very immature, butt-hurt, sorry person. and for that i will pray for you and your two sons who should start on varsity.
I dont think you read all my post there podna, playing time of my boys has never been the issue, being a laughing stock and loosing is my issue with our program just like anyone of you if you were in our position. My son could play defensive end for any team in Southeast Texas no problem! Half the teams in our district got outside of him maybe twice per game? Some none... I only know of one football scholarship in the last 4 years at HJ and thats Joe Persohn. I guarantee you Martel had no hand in that. He told me point blank, "coaches dont get kids recruited these days, thats up to the parents"... So my answer to the question about HJ kids playing at the next level, the ones that could have havent really had any guidence or help from the one person on campus that could have helped them. Maybe I am butt hurt, but mark my words, HJ will be doing some "reaming" of their own this next year if we get a guy that has some passion and respect for the game. I cant wait to get on here in September... Yall will all have new user names by then...
14.
bedlemond , so what your saying is both of your sons deserved to play at the varsity level? and that the coach seemed to have made a mistake?
Never said that, my oldest son stsrted as a freshman on varsity last year and although i believe my youngest could have done the same this year, i accepted it. My problems with the program has never neen the play of my sons, its the kids on the bench and thought process of our ex fearless leader. So using all of your theories, all these college, pro, and even high school programs that are not successful and fire their coaches for loosing, you guys blame the players? Your saying that Martel  should have been coach of the year??? That makes sense.
15. If HJ puts the best 11 on the field in the right positions with good play calling... They can hang with any team in the district. Don't under estimate this group of athletic young men!!!
16. Ok Lazeek, so I'm guessig someone told yo my son plays defensive end and you take a shot at the d line? Obviously you know nothing about HJ's 2012 football team. The d line was probably one of the best in the district. They are the reason we were in every game this year.
17. Like I said Farmer, you guys have no idea about what has been going on in this program... Hey, maybe I dont either, but sure seemed that way to alot of people. All those "un-ruley" fans...
18. This thread is just a carry-over from the other HJ thread. Facts are facts, you guys all say the same thing... HJ has no talent... Your wrong. Basketball players did play football, either on the bench or the jv. The  offense we chose to use, cant run with WOS or Silsbee, it was set up for certain kids to pad stats just like our defense. Hopefully we are done with that mentality. The only thing that changed this year from years past is the mentality of the boys. We have kids like Blain that are in the weight room every day. 6'3", couple 6'4", and even some 6'5". If this thing is done right, you will all be proven wrong.... These boys we have now, from freshmen to juniors, can play with anyone in our district and have the talent to go deep these next two years. Just hoping we get a coach with a passion for football. Badsanta, I dont know who you are nor do i care, but seems to me you have no clue. You obviously have no ties to our district nor do you know anything about it... Stay in your little dream world with your plastic "fun" doll...
