You WOS guys and gals get on here and start declaring yourselves as champions. Then there are the ones that get on here and start saying everyone is scared of WOS. My gripe is, how can you declare yourselve champions without playing everyone? How can you declare yourselves champions without a playoff, or a championship game? There are all sorts of variables that come into play when teams play each other. Thats why we play the game. If you had played us, maybe the first play your best player goes down and we capitalize? Maybe our best goes down and you beat us 150-0? Or maybe our defense works better against your offense than it did against HF. You just dont know.

How old are you? Like 12?

Hey Homer, why don't you get your mom to read this to you so you can understand it. HJ ended the season 6-1 homeboy! Lost to a team they should have beaten easily, but thats why we play the game, because anyone is beatable. You can declare yourself district champs all you want, but that HJ 7th grade group is the real deal and will be a force for WOS to deal with for the next 5 years. You see, football is a game that you have to play to see who wins. There are all sorts of variables that fall into place when different teams play each other. Until they have playoffs and a Championship game, WOS 7th grade is just another 7th grade team. Your season wasn't even finished so how can you call yourself a champion? Oh that's right, you cant! I know, why don't ya'll call yourselves the "Peoples Champion"? Oh that's right, nobody likes yall. HF did beat us because they were better prepared that day than we were. That's football. We understand it, so should you.

Well, I dont know who any of you are but I am hearing speculation that The HJ coach was scared to play West Orange. My son called me from school at two oclock to let me know that they were playing. His jr High coach told him. Then about 45 minutes later I get an email from my wife that was sent from our AD saying the games were cancelled. So our Junior High coaches, to me, obviously thought we were playing. When my boys got home, they were very upset. I guarantee you, our boys are not afraid to play anyone. If the coaches or AD's decided it was best to not play, I'm sure they had a good reason. At least I hope they did. If your not a junior high coach or the AD, then I have trouble believing you know the "true story". We were told the games were cancelled because of the threat of severe weather. Like I told the guy or kid earlier, our boys are not scared, I don't know about the coaches, but not the boys.

My 2 boys were actually pissed off they were'nt  going to get to play WOS this season. HJ 7th has no fear. The more you talk about how good WOS is, the more our boys want to play them. Keep talking. Keep thinking your unbeatable. Keep thinking people are scared. West Orange has athletes, we know, but WO is also very beatable. HJ is busy right now looking at the bigger picture with our 7th and 8th grade. So keep talking. We'll see you when it counts.

I'll tell ya another reason it went so long. They actually cleared the field during the 8th grade warmups so the BC jr. high band could perform. C'mon man, thats a halftime show!

I think thats awesome. Our HJ 7th grade boys are 4-0 and have only been scored on twice. Both games that we were scored on though were because HJ likes to take their foot off the gas after a 2 touchdown lead unlike everyone else that plays our 8th grade. That will be a great game at the end of the season (HJ-WOS).
