Well another year of high school football in the books. Congratulations to all the champions on a great year. Everybody else, hold your heads high. You put a lot of work and sweat into this season. In 9 months we start all over. You better not shout, you better not cry, cause Newton’s coming to town. LOL No I don’t know how good or bad them Eagles will be, only time will tell. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all SETX members. See y’all next year.

Bmt United (14-1) in a nail-biter....Standing room only with big band blasting all game... PA  forced the half court tempo most of the game.

I think this one will be a United win, but by like 3.... PA is probably one of the toughest places to play in the state...

One of the best matchups in the state. Look for a fast pace game and could come down to has the ball last. This is great having these two teams in our area.

United by 20. Pleasant and Baker etc can match up with Junior and Nate and Kasen can neutralize that solid guard they have. Memorial is overrated if you ask me.

I am thinking it will be a convincing United victory.

If he leaves this will be the 2nd coach from Bisd to come this way. Maybe we will get some student transfers we are open enrollment with a small fee. If your real good you can use my address lol. 

And by the way, he has a nice basketball resume being hes won State as a player, was an Asst. to Coach Lee at Central when they made it to State and was on staff with Kendrick Perkins in the negotiation of a contract or two or 3 or so.Yall have a  good one and might would wanna do what you have to to keep him cause it's not that HF is a hot bed place to wanna coach unless your trying to get your feet wet.

Sounds to me like they were accustomed to losing and it was fine as long as lil player A or Big player B got to play but now that hes there and a few kids decided they wanted to play for him and there parents made a way we have to come up with a way to get player A and B back on the court so this is what's being done to slander his name. I believe some would rather there son play than have a chance to learn the game and become better at it from him. What's gonna end up happening is there gonna go back to the ways of past and after this season he move on cause from what he did at Lumberton and HF so far his stock is risen and the rest are hoping for failure but before he allows you to dehumanize him or his family he will take his talents elsewhere. If you have been to a HF basketball before he got there and are a true fan of the sport there's not alot to see unless your the relatives of the kids playing because I got a 1st hand look lastyear and wasnt impressed whatsoever and watched him play Kountze this year and was highly impressed with the turnaround. You can blame it on the transfers or whatever reason you choose but winning cures all unless Player A and B isn't a contributor to the success in the eyes of the beholder. Drelyn Miller and Jared Harris are more than likely the 2 your speaking of.

I believe if Green hadn't subbed in 3 or 4 players on 1st substitution they would have gotten run out the gym. Maybe it was a " I'm gonna look out for my understudy type of deal". Its hard and almost impossible to sub 3 or 4 kids in and keep momentum vs a goodteam.

Makes my pick easier, North Shore.  To bad he’s out because this did look like a heckuva matchup.  NS’s high powered offense vs a good Duncanville Defense.  But with a Fr QB, apt to make mistakes, it could turn into a rout.   I do find it strange that a big school wouldn’t have an older backup.  And with an undefeated season, one with plenty of playing time.
