Lumberton will be anywhere from 2-8 to 0-10 this season. An extremely poor hire, so expect the Friendly Raiders to be Friendlier than ever this season. Sorry Raider fans. However getting beat by Columbus is better than getting beat by Houston Waltrip

I agree that hat you need to play the best 11. There are crucial situations where they need to be on the field. Unfortunately Lumberton’s Superintendent did a friend of his a favor and hired this guy. According to some very reliable sources I talked with, he was way down the list on applicants to hire. They simply tell me that he is very unorganized and doesn’t know much about football. In fact one of the coaches said to expect the Raiders to give up about 50 a game this season. I hate to hear that. Hopefully they will improve and do much better than that

last year the Dogs offense was explosive had a fantastic RB and a good QB. It appears that the talent level has dropped off at those 2 positions and it also seems like the secondary’s talent level has dropped off. hope you are right and hope they improve, but as of now I don’t think they will score more than 7 vs WOS. hope I am wrong. sure want to see them do well

appears that the Dogs will be fighting for 3rd, 4th, or 5th in district with PNG and TC. They have not looked good in their 2 scrimmages

Crosby had a fantastic year. Aledo has been to state many times and is well coached and used to this type of game. They also have as good or better athletes than Crosby. Remember that they barely lost to a 6A team that is playing for a state title tomorrow. Hats off to both schools and incredible seasons!

Wow that is 4 undefeated teams Crosby has beaten in the playoffs. They are playing fantastic football. It also shows that the district was much stronger than people said. I know they will be the underdogs next week, but I wouldn’t count against them

Nice season 9-3 not bad. 1 point loss, 3 point loss and not so good today. When you get this deep in playoffs you can’t have all the turnovers and give up the deep plays against a quality opponent. Simply congratulations to a good season

Love to see Nederland win, but it is going to be very tough. Too many turnovers vs Pine Tree that must be cleaned up. I know wet conditions played a big part of it. Going to have to step up and play their best offensive and defensive game of the year vs FB Marshall. Simply trilled that they are getting the opportunity to do so. GO DOGS!!

I always want the Bulldogs to play well. I simply state my opinion on what I think they must correct in order to continue winning. Yes, they have had a fantastic season and I want to see it continue. It was a good win against Sterling. However in my opinion, I believe they were the worst team they have played all season. The weak teams are all gone now, so the Dogs must continue to improve if they are to continue to win.

Certainly a Bulldog fan, but also realistic. If you are honest, the Bulldogs were sluggish in the 1st half and had way too many penalties vs a really bad team. They simply can’t afford to play like that in round 2 or they will not come out with a win

If they do not improve next week and clean up penalties they will be done get either A&M Consolidated or Longview Pine Tree

I think if you look at Larry’s total record as a head coach there are more losses than wins. I agree that he is a good offensive coach, but defenses were always horrible and probably one of the most arrogant people I have ever talked with

Where did he get all those wins I don’t think he ever had a team make the playoffs. I know at Hardin and Lumberton they didnt

Special teams must improve in a hurry if they are going to have a chance in round 2 plus they must reduce penalties. Hoping for a good playoff run
