Good comeback today. 10-2. 10-3 after LSU loss and then nice matchup with UC Riverside. I would think they would be same caliber as Penn Hopefully win 2 of next 5 before St Louis. I look for them to be 12-6 as they head to St Louis series. Davis’s best team since he has been at Lamar. Success still comes down to making it to the regionals. I hope this is their year to do it

Struggling with penn that came to Beaumont winless and I don’t think South Carolina is any better than A&M. Can’t continue to make errors along with poor pitching and hitting and win. Game #1 no hitting and 4 errors game #2 poor pitching and 2 errors Just poor college baseball. Maybe they will get back on track today

Lamar at least kept this one close 2 errors hurt again. Hopefully win tomorrow

Well the streak is over. The Cards have 2 nice wins over A&M and KState. Tonight an ugly loss to Penn. 3 hits with 2 of those in the 9th and a horrible 4 errors. I hope they can come back tomorrow and Sunday It appears that the Ivy League is better than the Southland

Does anyone know if there is an NCAA D1 softball team worse than Lamar. 3-16 now and 21-105 since she has started recruiting In my opinion they need to find a new coach that can recruit and teach the players are simply do away with softball

If you like watching poor softball play, then you need to watch Lamar. Since they fired Bruder, the program has gotten worse each season. 3-12 as of today and 21-101 the past 2 seasons and the first 15 games this season!

Very nice start of season for Cards. Looks like they are playing up to opponent’s level. Excellent wins vs SEC and Big 12 opponents and 3 close wins vs an average Oakland team. 5-0, hope they keep it up

Yes A&M, LSU, TCU, Missou good teams. U of H and Rice decent. The others average or not too good. Hopefully the record will be good after non conference to get them ready for conference I will give Davis credit for playing better teams than any other sport at Lamar

Very good start vs an opponent that is average. Hopefully a nice non conference record this season since they don’t play too many good teams in non conference

The latest vs UTSA. Lamar blows a 12-7 lead in the bottom of 7th. How long are they going to continue with Hooks. They are now 12-89 the last 2 seasons and their now 1-8 at the start of this season. I don’t think you can get much worse than this!

Well I believe the majority of people have discovered that Hooks can’t get the job done. I guess it is a combination of not recruiting well and the entire coaching staff Maybe they can win 6 or 7 games this season. Lamar messed up getting rid of Bruder, Harmony, and Price. At least their teams competed. The coach that is still there that has not done anything is Davis

Who is Nederland going to beat in district? I don’t think it will be Marshall, Dayton, PNG, or TC From what I saw, they will have to come a million miles from last year. I saw a little talent out of the sophomore class, but the coaching staff is not very good. Hopefully they can improve and come in 5th

A tremendous run by the Indians. Defense was tremendous (except for secondary)Think about the outcome. Offense gave SOC 9 points and special team 2. Never gave up and played hard all game. Congratulations on a great season
