Tyerman reacted to AggiesAreWe in **NEED THESE SCHEDULES**
Other than the 4 schedules I am still missing, the other 80 schedules have been posted in the schedule sub forum above the basketball forum. They are posted by districts.
I will be posting a weekly schedule each week which will be pinned at the top of this forum.
Game threads will be posted as well. Some will be consolidated like todays and tomorrows.
As the season progresses and we get into district play, there will be more individual game threads posted.
Again, anyone that has access to the 8 schedules I am missing, please post here or email them to me.

Tyerman reacted to AggiesAreWe in 2023-24 Basketball Schedules/Post Here
FYI, at the request of some of our local basketball coaches, I will be putting together a schedule thread like what we have in the football forum. This thread is just for gathering the schedules.
In a couple of weeks I will have a schedule thread posted and pinned for all our coverage area teams. It will be by classification and district.
Please continue to post schedules here.

Tyerman got a reaction from PAT34 in Kenneth Lofton Jr. BullyBall Camp July28th In Port Arthur
I wanted to give high praise to the Lofton family for this camp. I took my son and his friend today to this camp. The entire camp staff and family worked really hard all day. Great work on the basketball side of things done. The overall camp environment was awesome as well. Our state is blessed to have great role models of a player and his family like this. Beyond remarkable. I don’t know them at all but everything today was amazing for those kids. That community is very lucky to have a family like them.

I have only seen the 3A region teams and I think New Waverly wins their semifinal and I predict a very close game with Hitchcock but their size giving Hitchcock issues. New Waverly wins Region.

Tyerman reacted to AggiesAreWe in Houston ISD basketball SMH
If I am a high school basketball coach in this area, I would not waste my time scheduling any Houston ISD school. They are as unprofessional as they come. Two games were canceled this week, one without any notice. Houston Yates was scheduled to play at Little Cypress-Mauriceville today but called and canceled the game on Monday. Then, without notice, Houston Furr no showed for their game last night at West Orange-Stark. This is not the first time (nor will it be the last) that a Houston ISD school pulled this unprofessional move.
In regards to the Yates/LC-M game, LC-M had already played at Yates the last two seasons. All Coach Jeffcoat was wanting was a return game. When I saw the game on the schedule and the date that it was to be played (last day to play before Christmas break) first thing I thought was Yates backing out of the game. When I got the phone call from Coach Jeffcoat Monday, I was not surprised. There was some excuse given but IMO, the reason for Yates canceling was more about not being able to afford losing to a team like LC-M, which they would have.
Furr not even showing and not calling WO-S to cancel the game is as unprofessional as it gets. Decisions like this is why HISD is looked down upon by others in the state. This all comes from the top (HISD admins). Schools like LC-M and WO-S simply don't matter to them and could careless about any ramifications.
As far as I am concerned, I hope no area school ever schedules a Houston ISD school. Simply not worth the potential aggravation of losing a scheduled game.
