Last time we had 2 exchange students and we must have kicked extra points and field goals without any pressure because it showed  non-competitive kicking in practice makes good soccer players look scared and unreliable. Remember, it wasn't that long ago when this happened.!

Kickers are overrated , ( What ) If Newton had a field goal kicker, I kinda think they would have kicked a field goal at the end of the Woodville game for the win. If Field goal kickers are so overrated, why do all colleges,pro's and most high schools have one/ maybe they want to win close games. My reasoning is you need them to win against good teams JMO

Whatever, I had rather my Eagles and Bulldogs start out slow and get the right people in the right places so they may make a long run in the play-offs. Congratulation Newton on the win.

Paul pewitt seems to be struggling to get where they were last year. I believe Elysian Fields will be the toughest team in hemphill and Newton first three game bracket. Then dangerfield in 4th game. Although I wouldn’t bet the house on them being around they tend to play all over the place never know if there going to show up week to week. Hemphill will have to have the football Gods on their side to get thru EF first round. Newton should roll first couple games. Then things will get a little tougher in the 3rd and 4th rounds. I look for Newton to play EF in the 3rd round and Daingerfield in the 4th round. Good luck Newton.

I was impressed watching Newton. They are very good team. Hemphill in my opinion just doesn’t have a good enough defense to beat them. I think Hemphill offense will be the best Newton has seen in district. If Hemphill’s offense can move the chains and keep Newton’s offense off the field that will be key. If not look for another blowout victory for Newton. I believe this will be an exciting game to watch hopefully not a blow out. Both offenses are very explosive looking forward to watching this one. Hemphill should win by 20 but if they play sloppy New Waverly could upset them. Bulldogs are fairly descent team.

Like to see Newton get back for another shot.

What I understand from the players is that Newton likes to run out of a tight wing or a tight slot. They told me that Newton likes to flip the wing or slot at the line of scrimmage. When Newton does that both players will line up on the line of scrimmage and instead of staying in the wing or slot. When that happens it becomes a illegal formation to throw out of. Therefore the strong side Corner-back and Strong Safety doesn't have to cover anyone and can blitz.  That is only one of number of ways they said they telegraphed the play. I hope yall get these issues worked out and see yall at state again. But it will be a tough road though East Bernard at has only allowed like 75 points all season.

To many if's in there for me, I hope they play aggressive football and if (if again ) they play aggressive, we will win.🤞

Seems like Yoe has more going both ways this year than usual. For instance RB #25 is also starting LB and WRs #4 and #1 or both DBs. Diboll has pretty good depth and only have a couple going both ways. 

That's the truth. As they say. Just get there. Anything can happen.i'm the one who said a fourth place team had little chance of beating a district winner. Look what ND did to Newton. Dang sure closer than I ever thought it would be.

Newton by 21 Diana not that bad. 
Corrigan in my opinion has the toughest team in district 11 with pewitt they are disciplined. Corrigan will have to bring it to win this game. 
Dont laugh but I’m thinking Anderson-Shiro May bet Dangerfield there seasoned and play disciplined football just not exsplosive. Daingerfield is exsposive but sometimes not disciplined could cost them the game. I’m going with the underdog Anderson-Shiro on this one. 
My Hornets if they play a full 4 quarters not just 2 they should bet Elysian. They seem to be getting better each week.

I think Hemphill has a better team than there record. As for Newton, they didn't seem to have all cylinders clicking. Probably some Hemphill and some of that swollen head. I didn't see the offense really click much the first half. The defense looked descent but the Hornets had two running backs that could take it to the house if they got a opening.Hemphill was better than I thought. Pretty good athletes. We didn't look what we are ranked to me. They had to much other than football on there minds or just what I thought.

This game want be close, Diboll will just straight run the ball down your throat and by the 2nd quarter Coldsprings will be physically whipped. If the Trojans can stop them they better play that 10-1 defense of Celina's. I just don't think the Trojans have the horses to stay in this game.
