Even though Hunter and Graham were very good runningbacks, I classify them as defensive backs, since that is what they played in college and the NFL.
the title was silsbee runningbacks....which they were....and very good....and I dont think Arline played college ball....still a great back though...

I stand behind everything I post on here. I call it like I see it and if No. 8 is the starting QB next season, its going to be a really long year. As far as questioning me being a fan, I was here routing the Bruins on before Stump and I'll be here after Stump. I was one of only a couple West Brook fans on the fridaynightlights.com posting when the Bruins were losing for seven straight years. I didn't just show up in the good times, I've been here. You might want to ask around before you question my school spirit, fanofYeoj7!
I get a pretty good feel for your "school spirit" by reading your post....

WB can, and should, win. As long as coaching and bone-head playcalling dont get in the way, WB should win. But if I see any of those offfensive formations where #8 is in there along with #5....we might be in trouble. Only one time have I seen that set where it wasn't a run play. I have to ask this question......why do we have #8 in as a slot reciever...WITH A BROKEN THUMB! It's gonna be a run play because the thumb affects his ability to catch.....although I was supried last night when they ran a screen pass out of that formation, and #8 made the catch. THat was the only time that play wasn't a run play. NS will be expecting a run play if the two QB's are on the field at the same time. This is something I've noticed....and if I see it, dont you think the coaches at NS will see this? Just sayin. To answer your question....West Brook CAN win this game. If we go in there and play our A game....and dont turn the ball over.....West Brook should win. 25-21 Brook.
so....when 8 at a slot they dont have any other receivers on the field? And you think the OC does a lot of "bone-head play calling".I think there are a lot of high school coaches who wished they could call a game as good as the OC at the Brook.
Dude, Stump calls the offensive plays! He tells Coach Doug (the WR coach and OC {by title only}) what formation he wants and they send in that group of players. Pay attention next time your at a game.
DUDE...I KNOW..maybe you should pay attention...
You knew and still made that dumba$$ statement about the OC? Go figure... ???
when i said OC... i am talking about the guy calling plays...the OC...(not what some program says)   in this case the head coach (which has certain duties) is the OC (who calls the plays) so....is this going to fast for you....the OC (who is also the head coach) is a very good play caller(OC).....You got it...there are some head coaches that dont call plays....they are not OCs....but they are head coaches....you go figure on that...
WOW! You really stumped me on that one. Pun intended...Nice try at a save.
your lost again....your buddy said they only run when 8 is at slot because  of his cast and you cant catch with a cast on(although somehow he did) I ask if other receivers were on the field when 8 was at slot(you know....other people who dont have a cast on that could have the ball thrown to them) in other words.... they may not can throw to the slot(the cast that caught a ball) but they could throw to the other 4 people who dont have a cast .....so they dont have to run the ball when 8 is in a slot..........but im pretty sure the OC  knows this......i was just explaining it to yall...

The adaptation to the NFL is on the coaches and what they are willing to let their QB do. The second statement....I just don't believe that at all. If a lineman is soft, he always was.
Soft in the sense of a spread team punching it in from inside the 5 yard line.  I remember a article on Central when they went from the shotgun to the wishbone and the 1 thing the coaches found hard was to make the kids stay low when firing off from a 3 point stance.
you have to work it in practice...teaching a 3 pt or 2 pt is just that, teaching...have done both and they both have there merits...have never got out of the gun regardless of field position and have had a short yardage package, have had success with both if you work it at practice daily...
 21.
I guess real golf is played with wooden clubs? Things change
funny....most people who dont like the spread  think you cant have a power run game from 4 wide  ...getting into the shotgun does not automatically make you a "spread" offense...its just another way to run your offense...
 22.
You guys either forget or don't realize that Beaumont pays all three coaches the same salary. Last I looked Stump was making less than $80K a year. Same as Washington and Nelson. He will be offered $95K+ somewhere and WB will not be able to counter because it would cost them 45K+ and they are not about to pay Nelson or Washington $95K! He also is not going to be AD at WB. And wherever he goes, he will bring his son's with him. Besides I hear that there is or was another Freshman that started over his son this year??(is this correct?) If Faircloth leaves PNG, it will be for Permian! Of course Permians own Coach Allman who was a Permian allum left for Austin Westlake and $125K a year this year (and they are playing for th state title this weekend). I think if Faircloth gets paid (and PNG will pay) he will stay for a while. The key will be keeping all of the great assistant coaches he brought in (several will be HC candidates very soon somewhere).
stump makes more than the other two coaches...
