They got to get some turnovers and at least get some three and outs or something and that has not been seen alot this year. and for the qb start i say let the junior get another game started to see if he can get some things moving if not you can always put clack back in and roll with him but the Offense when facing a good team needs to score some points to help that defense out!
I would like to see the 10th grader playing JV taking snaps on varsity. He has a great arm and is a really good athlete. Plus he can't do any worse than Clack or Padia.
WOW Yeoj you must be the 10th graders friend cause if you know anything about WB and seen the JV kid play and practice you know that kid is not even close to being ready for Varsity...lol..maybe next year he can make a play for the spot but I would bet against it, Also Mouse your comment on Clack being mobile is a joke as well, clack has the least amount of yards on the ground on the team and has been sacked at least 6 times per game, where as in two games Padia has shown good running and scrambling and has 2 rushing TDs  and more rushing yards than clack, oh yea clack has 0 rushing TDs!  All said no matter who starts they lose to north shore 9 out of 10 times, but would be nice to see Flanagan get some experience for Padia since he will most likely be the guy next year!
You must be Padia or his parent. He's a hard worker but not the answer. And the 10 grader is as ready as Clack or Padia is. Its not like either one is setting the field on fire!
WOW..wasnt CLack the kid yall thought should have played last year.....i guess they knew a little more than you did...no big surprize there....
 2.
He is changing the attitude and culture of that program and school one game at a time.  That was a game he was supposed to win, and he did.  That is one of the signs of him turning that team around.  Wait till he loses another, the hater's will show up.
[move]THIS[/move]
 3.
I am still a WB fan.  I just lost my voice during all those winning seasons.  Hopefully I'll get it back.  :-X
Your opinion is a little more note worthy than most of the Brook fans on here...in my opinion...
 4.
No need to get your feathers ruffled, jackdad. No offense was intended. I was just voicing my opinion, based on what I've noticed from watching several WB games, this season. The whole point of this message board is to talk about sports, mainly HS football. I can critique the heck out of a game, especially from the stands. LOL! I am certainly a better "arm chair quarterback" than I would be if I actually had to throw a ball. So, again I meant no offense by what was posted. But, I can see when something isn't working, and when change is needed. The new coaching staff will be given their due time to be competitive. But, if after next year we're getting the same ol-same ol......well, that's unacceptable and a change is needed. Just sayin....
yours is an opinion...no better than anybody elses...sometimes you try to state it as more...and its not.
 5. Let's see..maybe the altitude caused Spring to have an off night...or some other stupid excuse that you "Stump haters" wil come up with.
 6. A re-building Atascocita lost to a powerhouse......yea....Stump sucks as a coach...WOW
 7.
Again, I'm not making bold predictions, but i believe our starting QB, Clack, will be back in the lineup for the Central game. If he is, the i should expect to see the offense look alot different. I would also expect to see more than 29 points, on the board. My biggest concern is our defense. Granted, Ozen is probably alot more talented than we are, but I'm not so sure the move to a 3/4 setup, from a 4/3 scheme, was the right move. Granted, its only the 2nd game, and the kids have to learn new formations, but dang! Only time will tell. Good luck to the Jaguars. Dont want any injuries, for either side, in this one.
Im pretty sure that he runs that scheme because that is what he knows.....that is what he has run in the past....and that is the scheme he knows how to make adjustments out of best. Some of you arm chair coaches crack me up....
 8.
So.  A broke clock is right twice a day unless he's robbing from SC and or Humble.  Like I said, no playoffs in the near future as long as Oak, Forrest, DeKaney, or Westfield are in his district
HE WON. Enough said.
 9. It's funny you use "other things". One can assume that the "other things" were not important to some but important to others. I'd say it's along the line of a spoiled brat..etc..etc...take that for what it's worth..
 10.
Stump comes is DAL in district! All track and field people know what that acronym stands for.
So bitter.....I wonder why...
 11.
Its funny that you label it a 'situation'.  One can assume that its a situatiin to some and not all.  I'd say it's along the lines of a spoiled brat.  Someone cant have their milk and cookies.  Take that for what its worth...
And one can assume, that some people won't agree with your anology....really...a spoiled brat....that's funny...I'm just glad Stumps in a place that will appreciate him...all he will do is get better jobs...
 12. Very good post.
If you looked at the numbers on West Brooks sidelines you will know what he was talking about the vote.  Stopping transfers has hurt the Brooks numbers and it is evident with the amount of kids on varsity at a 5A level.  There numbers are just now getting back up.  Ozen won and congrats to them.  But, all of you Stump haters from the past who have not been on here yet because you cant come on here and say "I told you so", everyone knows Stump would not have allowed what happened last night to happen.  Ozen could not beat him.  He finds ways to when!  And if you think he won't do that at Atascocita your crazy.  It may take a year or 2, but he will win.  Too good of a coach not to.  Stump haters, you got what you wished for.  So sit back and watch.  Gonna be a long year.
13. I'm sure you are right...just rubbin it in on some of previous bashers on here.

Wow... Congrads Coach Nelson. I guess some off you "West Brook" fans are getting what you asked for(no Stump, he was a horrible coach, even if he won)and Atascacita is getting what they asked for ( Stumps a winner) it's a win win situation for both sides. Except for in Brooks case, their win will not be showing in their record.
I'll go back to this post because I do not want to feed the "WB" troll that posted after this.  I think you know that I have tremendous respect for Stump and the great staff he put together.  The new staff has some huge shoes to fill and also will need to deal with and get used to the way things are done at Da Brook and BISD.  It is only fair to give them some time while wishing them all the best of luck.  On the other side, Da Brook has to be open to the changes and learn to unify.  Step 1 is to find some players that are ready to step up and lead.  This was not evident  by the way the handled themselves in defeat.  Also, big congrats to coach Nelson and his staff and team.  They are loaded with speed and talent and should give their district a run for their money.
15.
He quite because they asked his OC to teach a class. I would think for 3 A that would not be too much to ask.
17.
Who said anything negative?
On some of the other threads about him leaving...not trying to drag those back up. BISD lost a very good coach that came to the Brook at a time when they were down . Stump (and his staff)  built them them back up to a very respectful team. And now he will go to atascocita and probably do more with better everything.
 18. He is going to be happier there with the support and the facilities. I am amazed that anybody would have something negative to say about the job he did at West Brook. He ran a first class program. Some of the people on this board just don't have a clue. Coach Stump will continue to get better jobs and move up in the ranks through out his career. And you can take that to the bank.
 19.

All i got to say to Aatascocita players is get ready to work hard and WIN. A great hire for them and a good move for coach.
Well said.  I love the way he starts a program.  And for the players there  who think they have a secure spot, think again.  Everybody has a good chance to show their talents in the off season, and they better get serious about getting busy.
Exactly , they are going to work harder than they ever have, and love it. I wish I could be there with them.
 20. All i got to say to Aatascocita players is get ready to work hard and WIN. A great hire for them and a good move for coach.
 21. What a game from brook. The kids played hard and came up short. Get ready for next week.
