2.

Im sure they would play better in a new $15,000,000 arena ::)
Those silly jokes are not even funny anymore, but guys like you keep telling them...   ::)
You're right, soulja, they're not funny...they're hilarious!
3. Years ago, while still playing for LU, Kenyon Spears coached at some LU summer camps.  He was my kids' favorite, so I have to go with him.  Obviously he was a good player, but he also seemed to have a unique ability to communicate with the kids.
4. HF's off-season program would ruin him for sure...that's why he's transferring to HJ.
5. What a shame...just another example of a professional and well-respected coach trying to create a standard for those who will eventually play on his team only to be overruled by administrators afraid to tell parents where they can take lil Johnny to play by a set of rules they agree with. I certainly hope these same administrators don't do the same thing when this same lil Johnny finally enters Silsbee High School.  It certainly sends the wrong message to not only this kid but his teammates and every other parent who has wondered what would happen if they made a stink about a certain rule they don't agree with.  Rules are rules, and participating in extracurricular activities is a privilege, not a right.  It's irrelevant if it's participating in cheerleading, band, math club or a sport.  In the grand scheme, is it really significant that a junior high kid has the rules changed for him because his parents made a stink and the administrators didn't support their coach?  Not particularly, but it's just sad.  If my kid's coach said that in order to play on his team, all players had to wear a yellow watch, you can bet I'd be at Academy looking for a yellow watch...actually two yellow watches because I know he'd lose the first one.
6. Is this the only area in Texas where 5A schools routinely play 3A schools?  That was unheard of back in the day; maybe playing one level down, but never two.  The 5A schools have everything to lose and nothing to gain as they are expected to win those games every time.  I just don't understand why a 5A coach would even consider playing 3A teams.
7. The Butch jokes are hilarious and plentiful!   :-* The sad thing is they are all true.
8. Coach Williams, I applaud you!  Keep up the solid work of mentoring young men.  I am not a Silsbee fan, but I am a fan you.
9. The coaches are to blame for this watered-down, meaningless process.  3 kickers on first team.  Really?  What  a joke!  Coaches need to get real.
10. Congrats to those selected though I believe the excessive number of selections waters down the recognition.  Unfortunately, it happens in every sport.  I sense the closed door selection process goes something like this..."I'll select your kid if you select mine."   The Reggie Garrett selection is awesome!
11. What a turn of events.  As much as I was hoping OF would pull it out, I didn't have much hope.  Congrats to the Bobcats for tonight's win and a great season.  BC needs to crank it up for the playoffs and represent 21-3A well.  I wish the Cardinals the best of luck.
12.
that's what we like to call "sarcasm".  he's taking a shot at another poster who always comes on here and talks about HJ.  Nash is a die-hard HJ fan.
As am I.  Thanks for the heads up, Bullets.  Ooops
13. I took my 11-yr soccer-playing daughter to the victory over McNeese Friday night, and as much as I was blown away by the facility, I was even more impressed by the players who took the time to autograph posters and pictures for their young fans after the game.  It made a huge impression on her to see LU win and then be so personal and friendly to a huge group of young soccer players and admirers.  It made this Lamar alum very proud.  Thank you, ladies, and I wish you the best of luck at the conference tourney.
14. I'm glad to hear that.  I guess that means his disgruntleness comes from being cut from the Twin County Little Dribblers team.
15. "Not much wisdom/intelligence in a smiley face.  We need to hear about who will lead the district in turnovers, who "just stand there and shoot" ,  and why HJ success relates directly to the number of players who are from "across the tracks" as opposed to the knowledge/experience of the coaching staff as well as how "the four year plan" will impact the team." Are you really going there?  It sounds like you either got cut from HJ's program whose team has the greatest and probably the most successful coaching staff in SE TX, or you're from Kountze and you want your team to win so bad that you're willing to make yourself appear like a juvenile delinquent who has just been suspended from the county alternative school.  Your comments are, at a minimum, inflammatory.  Anybody who follows local basketball knows that HJ's program is first class, and Coach Joubert also does a first class job with the Kountze Lions.  I wonder who Joubert played for in high school.  Oh, that's right, the very program you're trying to put down.  It's a great rivalry and though I don't know the exact history of each of their previous games, I'm sure they were played hard.  Finally, if "just standing there and shoot" was so easy, I'm sure every team would do it.  The other parts of your post are not deserving of a response.  Were you able to read and understand all of that, nash?
16. I believe Chip was the best QB, but Landry was the best all-around player because of his additional special team duties.  Does anyone know if Chip is still playing pro baseball?
17.

MidCounty sees nothing but MidCounty!!!
Thats not true because I sell cars in Mid County and my Sales Mgr Sun goes to WB and such So come on back to mid county and get you a car I ll give you a good deal
Please stop!  Car salesmen don't "give" good deals.  They run back and forth between the sales manager and the customer.  That whole process is pretty darn painful.
