Another fact:  LU players interviewed on Sunday said they're confident about beating Vermont and are 'ready to face North Carolina'.  I know these are unchartered waters for LU's players, but I hope they're not overly confident to the point of not even showing up Wednesday night. 

3 weeks ago, we were all up in arms after getting beat by SFA and Nicholls State.  Now we're whining about a play-in game?  Really?  I'm thrilled just to have Big Red still playing.  Let's go Big Red!! Geesh

Now dat der yates score is funny, all because "you know who" wants everybody to think they are untouchable.  When they get beat next year in 3A, the same person will have yet more excuses.  Let it go down as a great game without offering your unwanted and slanted "analysis".

Coach Knight is 5-0 after his "rant" and will play in the Southland Conference Championship game Saturday.  Nay-sayers of Coach Knight's ways are eating crow right about now.  He was brought in to clean up the mess, and boy has he ever.  Unfortunately for us LU backers, he may not be around much longer.  I, for one, hopes he stays for many years to come.  Young men who are committed to taking the high road and doing the right thing gravitate to coaches like Pat Knight, and in the end, they benefit way beyond graduation.  Let's kick some mcneese butt Saturday, so we can go "dance".

Congrats to The Honorable Todd Sutherland & the rest of the his coaching staff for proving, yet again, that they are arguably one of the best staffs to ever coach in SE TX!!

IMO: players vs players...slight edge to HJ coach vs coach...hands down goes to The Honorable Todd Sutherland & staff Silsbee better hope the game isn't close and doesn't come down to coaching.  If so, Sutherland & staff will display their mad skills and win.  For Silsbee to win, they need to hit early and often and not allow HJ the opportunity to think they have a chance.  Either way, it'll be a great display of athletes going head to head.  Add the emotions of a big time game, and I think there will be a lot of fouls and turnovers early.

Congrats HJ!!  Good luck Friday.  It should be a good game for everyone.

Weak refs and a coach who approves of the behavior by not benching him only supports the punk's actions.

LaMarque has too long a history of this sort of behaviour after losing football games.  [b]The best thing to do in my opinion is to tell your team to go DIRECTLY to the dressing rooms after the games.[/b]  And, of course, tell the LaMarque Coach in pregame warm ups that this is what you have instructed your team to do.  Again, LaMarque has too much involvement in this sort of behavior - so, "Defuse" the situation as much as you can.
