Well dont I feel stupid? I thought it started back in December? But yes I agree, should have shut it down much sooner. Or at least funneled returning american citizens into a single quarantine location. I'm reminded of the scene in the godfather, where Vito corleone was in quarantine at Ellis island. Not allowed entry then tested.

???

We all know some people live beyond their means. But I believe you are seeing how much this epidemic has affected the high class as well as the poor. CV is blind to race, religion, and paycheck amount.

Really? Sarcasm much? They sent home 1 person last week, and 3 before lunch today. So when the 1st coworker falls deathly ill, and the govt has to support thier family. I'll make sure... ... is displayed front and center on their tombstone. Prey for us. Even though I'm not on the front lines, everyday is a battle.

For essential employees who are still working, DO NOT USE THE WATER COOLERS. They took away the coffee pots, but I've seen a lot of hands on the water coolers this morning.

International airports are the hubs for CV entry into the US.

Sorry to hear that. I have a family member in Spring that has self quarantined from 2nd hand exposure. She has no symptoms and can't get tested. Just waiting for results from the person she was in contact with. Can't be too cautious. Any idea how you caught it?

And some of us, deemed essential infrastructure, will continue to go to work for the greater good of the general public. Without any government handouts, hazard pay, or attendance incentives. Business as usual... production and profits over employee health and well being.

Unfortunately, not everywhere. How can this possibly be enforced by retail workers? It can't. But its more of an order for the shoppers to be responsible.

[Hidden Content] From the article Orange County has requested a mobile hospital like the one established here after Harvey. Gothia said Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas owns the vacated hospital on Strickland Drive and the county cannot use it. He said local officials have been in contact with the three hospitals in the area, including Baptist Hospital Beaumont. No one has offered the Orange facilities.

And the only loss in their 98 championship season. So doesn't that cancel out the "1 more trophy than WOS" argument?

Obviously my stress levels are as high as giraffe a$$

You know it's bad when @CardinalBacker is the voice of reason. Just jokes bro/sis? Lol Ive found a lot of his recent comments to be quite correct. And if a red bird and a blue man can agree, there's hope for us after all.

Just like when Reagan addressed the UN in the 80s. He stated that if the people of earth were united against an alien threat, we would realize that we are all in this together. I hope that America can unite in this time of panic. And maybe even close the gap between red and blue, black and white, rich and poor. If this wasn't an election year, pandemic would have stayed in the locker room. Coronavirus is blind to all that separates humanity. This will be a major chapter in the book of history. The only question is... will we learn from it, or be doomed to repeat it?

Everyone should consider shopping at small local businesses. Major corporations will survive long term, but your favorite mom and pop stops may not.
