My screenname is pretty close to my real name and obvious to anybody locally that coaches. Aaron Meaux. It is even on my email address. I've been coaching High School football for about 13 years and I love to get on this website and listen to all of the info. It makes my day. I do believe it would make it alot nicer if everyone would have to step out from behind the curtain and say their name. NOPE! After working with him 3 years and knowing him personally like I do he will NOT leave to go to PNG. I really fell he has a better shot at a Div.2 5A title than any chance at PNG in 4A. Now maybe if Lamar would have given him what he asked for he would be there right now!!

Thank you. It has been my observation in my 13 years of coaching that older men (That's us) think these kids eat and sleep football. Because at our age there is just not much else to do besides that and work. BUT these kids are KIDS!!! and they have other things on there mind besides football...if you know what I mean. ;D ;D ;D ;D I said all of that to say this...Having your son be with you morning and night on the field and off makes him see things that you just can't make a regular JOE see with the few hours you have him at school. That is why he was so successful with Dustin. I believe that LONG will be the next HC or maybe even AD at PNG. No matter what anyone says. I could be wrong. I also believe that he will be average his first year. 5-5 if you will. But give him time to install his offense and groom young QB's and these kids will by into it whole heartedly. I also believe the staff, for the most part, will accept him right back in and PNG can move on from this HORRIBLE time in its history. heck BUCK may even write another book about it!!!!

Well if you think he can only be successful with his son...Then have it in his contract that he can adopt an freshman boy every other year...PICK of the litter if you will...Then he can groom the little guys day and night. I'm sure the PNG faithful will go for that. Anything to WIN!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

ICE 74...All college coaches have to have a Masters degree. They usually get it while they are GA's.

Most new 4A and 5A HC that want to be AD's have a Masters. If they don't...well then support our local college (LU) and go get one!!!!! I'm a firm believer that all it takes to get a degree is....TIME AND MONEY!!!!! :D :D :D

As a PNG Grad. I feel the "DIE HARDS" of PNG will not allow 2 losing seasons. Then it will be NEXT. How many will the new guy get to bring with him??? When we came to WB not 1 coach was left on the Varsity staff!!!! Craig brought 2 in the spring and 6 in before next school year. That helped!!! Thanks. I feel we did a pretty good job at WB.

Well after coaching for 13 years I have been on both sides the old coach going out nad the new coach coming in. And I just feel things should have been handled with a little more class. Honor, Pride, Tradition...Class needs to be added. I talked with MB personally and he told me they were going back to SMASHMOUTH football 2 springs ago. He said that he thought that teams were gearing themselves more toward defending the spread. And that when they played PNG they would have to change their scheme. I asked about defense and he said they weren't going to change much. We talked at length about the reasons he wanted to do what he thought was best and I shared with him my thoughts. But a HC knows his personal. Even if they are not utilized in the proper way. To listen to him justify why he was going back to OLD school football. He was so excited I was happy for him. Now it looks as if things didn't work out. But that is the way it goes sometimes... I still believe he is a great guy and deserved a better way of going out. He is a TRUE INDIAN!!!

New Indian...Take it from an old Indian. People have been calling for MB's job for the last 4 years. If he had not made the playoffs 2 years ago he would already be gone. I just think things could have went down a diffrent way.

Eskue was at WB and yes...Ya'll can do better. But personally they are both great guys.

Now Malone did treat all of his asst like crap! But there are some HC that just treat everone as if they are beneath them. ie Saban, Belichick Now I would not put Malone in these guys category except EGO...

Well for sure Rabb and Escue can handle the fans criticism. They have both endured there share at Kelly and West brook. And disgruntled PNG Fans can obviously hand out some harsh criticism. Just look at the stake where the BURNED MB.
