Yea Buddy sometimes they are in place to make a play and we don't wrap up. But I believe the effort is their. If we can get better on the defensive side of the ball we might have a shot at another DC.

I'm just going by what I've seen.  Crosby and Dayton put up the yards and points on us. WOS in the scrimmage moved the ball on us. I feel the offense is gonna be good but can't afford mistakes because of having to out do the opposition.
I will be there cheering the dogs on hoping they prove me wrong. Go Dogs!!!

So PNG scores on an 80 yard bomb to McZeal... Nederland answers with a 10 play 75 yard drive chewing up 4:50 minutes of clock.  PNG scores again on a 70 yard bomb to Giblin... Nederland answers with a 12 play 85 yard drive chewing up 5:30 minutes of clock... who will be patient enough to finish?  I don't think there's any doubt PNG's passing game is going to give ALOT of teams nightmares... Oh except for Crosby.

Hopefully during spare time some of the boys are watching a little extra film. Something else killing us this yr is special teams. I can see why coach has gone with the onside kick at times. If we kick deep, pooch kick, or squib kick it's usually a big return. We had some fg attempts blocked also. #5 has done a nice job punting this yr.

I do have to question the play calling at the end of the game for GCM. Those last 4-5 plays were head scratchers to say the least.
 
You have 99 yards to go, no timeouts and less than a minute left in game and you never attempt a single pass. All runs out of the I formation, 3 fullback belly plays, a counter and a option. GCM only attempted 3 passes the whole game, none in the 2nd half.

No playoff game here lol

Great ball game Dogs. Way to play your hearts out. I'm shouting out to the O line because you guys don't get enough credit for how well you are coming together. If the D can figure out how to play 4 Quarters of solid ball y'all can be dangerous. #1 listen to Dad. Don't get caught up in the extra after the play mess. You are the D leader. They need you out there. After Central went up 36-21 you came to the sidelines and told everyone in the stands "y'all don't give up on us" and then motivated your defensive players. Great leadership! It was a great prayer from the young girl. That's is why I love to go watch a game in Vidor. They don't worry about what the world says but put there trust in Jesus. Wish big Ned would do this.

It looks like our defense's struggled during non district action MTC. We have looked good at times and then boom a big play. Also we have been in position to make a play and didn't wrap up and make the tackle. Offense has also looked good at times and then a flag or turnover kills a beautiful drive. Love district play. Good Luck to Vidor the rest of the season. Except this game of course lol.

I think it's asking too much out of #22 to be tailback and play full time D. It's a tough Decision on Sage if you remove him from QB because he may be the leading rusher on the team. Lots to work on but it starts with discipline.

PNG absolutely has one of the Best fan bases in Texas High School football. And this is coming from a bulldog.
