Congrats to SV but HD shot themselves in the foot multiple times. Had two scoring drives going and got turned away. One stopped at the 8 yd Line and the other called back due to a penalty that was a touchdown. Prayers for the Daisetta kid who was hurt. Saw him being put in ambulance as I was leaving.

Who y’all got? I believe this is gonna be a good game. I know Shelbyville beat Deweyville 34-26 and HD beat Deweyville 37-14. I’m gonna say HD by one score.

Great win by the bobcats. The Shelbyville game next Friday is gonna be a dog fight.

That’s funny. SA has just in the last couple of years started really winning again. and that’s after 12-14 years of fielding mediocre teams. . Don’t get to big for your britches just because you’ve had a couple of good years. Smh.

SA is not the same team from last year. Although they do have good squad , i believe they will be exposed on the outer edge by the HD rb’s. Only concern to me is HD stopping their offense. I see a high scoring game if Hd holds onto the ball. I see a 48-34 game, Hd with the W. As far as the Cushing game goes that all of you have jumped on, that was a game Hd should have won but the 1st half killed them. And their a whole lot better this year. They were even decent last year. Just couldn’t get the w In district. But games were close according to the Cushing ppl.

HD first team looks pretty salty. The two backs in the backfield are going to give teams some problems this year. Colmesneil not to bad . Not that it really matters but HD first team was able to punch it in and convert on a 2 pt conversion

Anyone know for sure the time of the Liberty / East Chambers scrimmage? On here it says 6 but on liberty high school website it says 4:30-6.

I’m not sure of the exact year but I wanna saynit was back in 14 or 15 that Newton beat WOS 19-7 in Newton. I believe that was the first time in school history to beat WOS. With that being said , it’s going to be tough for Newton to beat Gilmer , WoS or Silsbee . And if they lose all of them it’s nothing to hang their head over. My main concern in games like this that mean absolutely nothing except bragging right is keeping the kids healthy for when it does count . Since I’m a Newton fan I’ll go ahead and predict Newton’ will go 2-1 in these 3 game. The most likely team they’ll beat is Silsbee. But who knows, we may catch some breaks and beat all three .

This would be a good movie. Especially with all the struggles Coach WT has had to face and live with every day. From losing the state game in 14 and finally coming back to do it in 17 is an awesome story line. Much deserved.
