Well Indians are out early this morning doing one last walk through practice. So I would say game on. Weird how Ned loss made the game way more important. lol

May be a very aggressive pack of DOGS next week. Nothing like washing out a bad loss with a big win. We shall see how they react.

1.Let's see if GCM beats Ozen next week then GCM and Central go big school.

Ned and PN-G go small school.

Central #1 seed div 1 GCM #2 seed

Ned  #1 seed div 2 PN-G #2 seed

2.If Ozen wins then Nederland  and Central go big school and PN-G and Ozen go small school.

Ned #1 seed div 1

Central #2 seed div 1

PN-G #1 seed div 2

Ozen #2 seed div 2

Big thing is who is going to be  co district champs.

I find it funny that some Crosby people LOVE to say how they have owned Nederland in the past few years.

Then when someone does the same thing to them Crosby they say why bring up the past for it does not matter.

I explained earlier how I felt KING was the better team with the speed and talent they have right now. Next thing I know I am jumped on and the Dogs are not worth spit because Crosby beat them in preseason. Do not see the connection but hey I am from a dot on the map too.

Stat brings up the past about all the titles PN-G has won in their storied history and Crosby say that does not matter, but I bet top dollar they wish they had them. Then we look at which of these teams have made deep playoff runs the last 10 years and low and behold we see Dayton and Nederland several times. So what does this tell us not a damn thing. Only those were some good teams.

 Now so far this year King looks to be the team to beat  but Crosby is looking to knock them out.

Then over on our side of the tracks Nederland has gone from 0-3 preseason to 5-0 in District and looking for fourth Undefeated District Title. So what does this mean for the playoffs not a damn thing.

Now until any one of these teams wins state this year then it means they were not as good as the team that beat them

.

So may GOD BLESS all these young men and keep them healthy.

That would be good amount to post but main factor is first year qb. Had to learn to play in the new system.

Revamped both lines .

Defense has changed personnel since preseason. Several sophomore playing now.

Offensive line changed personnel also.

Offensive scheme changed this year compared to last few.

But like I said before a lot of teams have done the same thing. Crosby is a solid well coached football machine who has beaten Ned several time but also has been beaten by Ned.

 just say off the film I have seen C.E. King is a better team right now. Does that mean they will win NO.

Yep Dawson learned that against DOGS.

Coogs have given Dogs fits except for first year of twins when dogs defense was really good.

No most teams improve as season goes along. Nederland just had a lot to replace this year and it takes time to learn to play together. Not saying other teams are doing the same just know that is what Dogs had to do.

Past example was 2 years ago wen Dayton beat up Ned in preseason then Dogs beat Dayton in playoffs.

No not saying it will happen again this year just explaining my logic.

Never count any team out until the last whistle or horn blows.

Nederland is gaining speed and confidence for the playoffs and looking better each week.

 Agree if PN-G gets Halfin off to good start he is difficult to tackle.

Indians defense is much improved over years past and play smart.

 Central is fast in the defensive backfield but misses some assignments up front.

I do know one thing for sure the crowds will be loud and proud. I was so disappointed in the crowd from Ozen, maybe 15o people for a possible playoff team.

Soulja their district mirrors our district. Just saying ,3 top team, a couple average teams and then the rest.

Crosby did beat my Dogs early and we know what Dogs did with Jags so don't say they had week schedule.

Give respect where it is due.

I am a DOG and I have full respect for what King has done. They are scary good 

Crosby is solid and has been for several years now.

This week will be great to see.

 I think King comes up with big win to take District.

Central is wide open offense with dual threat qb. Both qb's have been making some dummy mistakes that they can not afford in this game,

Ok here it is. Both teams are excellent on offense. Easily scoring 30 or more points. Defense is also very close with Jags little more speed but PN-G with better discipline. So where is the advantage for each team outside the obvious.

To win Central must stop penalties and turnovers period.

 To win PN-G must play smart disciplined football and manage the clock.

My advantage goes to PN-G in the kicking game. If it comes down to this big advantage Indians.

This is why I am picking PN-G  38 - 35.

 I also would not be surprised if Centrals wins as they are tough team.

I do believe I will be staying in town to see this one.

Central better play more disciplined ,with less penalties. If not thy will have a hard time  with the Indians.
